The Rangers practiced Friday afternoon at the Dallas Stars facility just outside Dallas, and winger Jesper Fast was injured when struck by a puck during a drill. Fast suffered a broken nose and has some loose teeth after the accident, which left him a bloody mess as he was escorted off the ice and into the dressing room by the team's head athletic trainer Jim Ramsay.

Great! It's not even like it was during a game😂. He broke his nose and loosened a few teeth at practice😂.

Vigneault said that if Fast is unable to play Saturday against the Stars then rookie defenseman Dylan McIlrath would play right wing "and we'd just shuffle the other forwards".

That is NOT gonna work. Does anyone remember what happened last time McIlrath was a forward instead of defensemen!? It didn't work out so well. Can't they just bring up Megna!?! He's a great forward! He got a a multi-point game on his debut with the Rangers! Seriously !!😣😁😣😁😣😁😣😁😣😁😣😁😣😁😣😁

Fast has been playing regularly in a top-six role the past month with Rick Nash out of the lineup and is also one of the team's top penalty killers. Though he does not have a point, nor a goal, in his last seven games Fast has established career highs this season with eight goals and 21 points.

As for Nash, who is not on the road trip, Vigneault said he had another MRI exam yesterday and the results were positive, with the hope that Nash can soon begin lower body workouts.

"He's still week to week, but everything was fine in the MRI," explained Vigneault. "I'd expect in the next week to ten days he'd be able to start lower body (workouts)."

These lower body workouts would be the next step before Nash is able to return to the ice and begin skating again. He has now missed 14 consecutive games with a bad bone bruise in his leg.

Let's hope, 1- Fast is ok and can play because he's been playing REALLY well with Nah out. 2- They won't be stupid and put McIlrath as a forward that's retarded. And 3- Let's hope AV doesn't move any players around on lines if McIlrath is a froward.

How Lines Should Be
(Not Defensemen)
1st Line
Miller Brassard Zuccarello
Kreider Stepan Fast/McIlrath
Lindberg Hayes Stalberg
Glass Moore Hrivik

Let me know if you agree that these are the perfect lines and that they work. If you don't like them or a certain one, let me know which line and why. Thanks.
