It was a quiet trip without Donghae,
His normal nonsense keeps me company whenever we go on a trip but this time around I was traveling alone.
I decided to send him a kakao message
To keep my promise.
"Just boarded the train, what will you do while I'm gone?"
It only took a minute for him to respond and to be honest I felt giddy for some reason.
"Shindong hyung said that He knows someone who's selling a house who has an outdoor lake and I might as well see if its in a good neighborhood."
"What time will you be back?"
"Depends...Hyung might asked me to eat with him."
I was worried that they might drink as well but knowing Donghae who's not much of a drinker I was confident that he won't do things that could hurt me.
"Eat first before going out and dress warmly as well.."
I was worried if he could find his gloves
"My gloves is in the drawer."
He send me a picture of him wearing my gloves with a silly smile plastered on his face.
"I miss you already." He send another message.
"Me too."
God...that was over the top cheesy.
But I do miss him.
So whats wrong with that?

The trip back home was not too long,
But I rarely go on train alone.
I saw my mom right away on the kitchen
"Omo!what brought you here?"
She then hugged me.
"Just wanted to visit you..."
She made me some chicken soup and made sure to pack some of her home made kimchi.
"You're not with Donghae?"
She was waiting for Donghae to show himself.
Even Sora was looking at the door.
"Did you two fight again?"
Trust Mom to worry about Donghae first.
"He's back at the Dorm,He's probably messing my entire room as we speak."
"You should have come with him, I promise to cook for him last time."
"Well I need to talk to you so I let him stay at home first."
"What's wrong?" She looks at me
"Well...Donghae and I..we're sort of started Da..dating."
Sora looks at me, Mom stop mixing the kimchi.
"Dating..? You mean like lovers?"
I nodded.
Sora started on laughing, Mom even join in.
They must be too shock.
"Took you long enough to admit it."
"What? We just started dating a few days ago!"
"You've been like a couple for god knows how long!"
"Mom?"
"Hyukjae...Whenever Donghae comes with you and he started on calling me Mom i knew, the way he looks at you..and you at him."
"And your okay with that?"
"Well I was surprised it took you guys this long to finally be a couple...
And maybe you could start a family of your own.."
