Chapter 5 Dude, This Cat Is Weird

Reader's Pov

Smile and Jeff were playing outside today. I sat at the window and watched as Jeff would throw his knife and Smile would catch it in the air. The tall faceless man walked by and looked out the window and saw the activity before sighing. He walked out of the room and I saw him grab the knife with something that came out of his back. Jeff got on his knees and looked down at the ground while his dog was sitting with his head bowed. "How many times have I told you. Do you know how dangerous this is? Am I speaking Japanese?" They shook their heads and the faceless man waked back inside with the knife still in hand. He dropped it onto the table next to the couch.

Something felt off today though. Like something would happen and I had no idea what. Shaking my head I decided to go find Silver and play with him. I walked through the mansion but couldn't find him, in fact I couldn't find almost anyone. The front door opening was what got my attention and I rushed down the stairs but skidded to a halt at what I saw. It was a man, he had red eyes, black hair and ears and a tail. He looked down at me before turning into a cat and staring at me. I took a few steps back but when he kept advancing I turned around and ran to Silver's room. I could hear him following me as I ran. I saw Jeff up ahead in the hallway and ran faster until I was close to him and jumped onto him and climbed my way up onto his shoulder. He swore as my nails dug into his skin but he just watched me and looked down at the black and red cat.

"Grinny dude, it's been forever. What took you so long?" The cat smiled and turned back into a human before giving a fist bump to Jeff. "Pencilneck wouldn't let me leave. Took a lot but I told her that Slenderp was expecting me back soon. Anyways, who's the hot feline on your shoulder there?" He asked and smirked while Jeff just rolled his eyes. "This is Silv's new cat, {Y-N}. He found her on one of his hunts and she tagged along home with him. She's weird too." The man, Grinny just nodded before winking at me. "I'd hook up with that ass though." Jeff gave a look of disgust while I swore a few insults his way. "Damn, this girl's got a tongue." Grinny said while laughing and I glared at him. "Shut up you fox dung!" He just ignored me and looked around. "Hey, where's Smile?" He asked and Jeff shrugged. "No idea, we were playing catch the knife but Slender made us stop. After that I don't know where he went." I smelled something coming from the kitchen that caused my stomach to suddenly growl and Jeff looked at me before walking to the kitchen. "Seriously dude, this cat is weird."
