It was still evening when Loraine met Tora in the gardens. She was sitting on a bench near a fountain that seemed to drown a set of rare stones, glowing silver and cerulean. As she approached her, a sweet waft of wildflowers from the gardens had breezed in along with the cool wind. Loraine noticed the magnificent view of a foreign and timeless night sky above them as if it was watching her wisely.

"I heard you blacked out again?" Tora asked as soon as she saw her.

Tora was the Asgardian who took her from her home – Liventra to Asgard. The Elders of the Liv had told Loraine that she was to be the bearer of this task however, it was only when she was brought in Asgard when she knew what sort of task it was. Tora had guided her in every step of the way – the places in the palace, etiquette and courtesy, serving, and most importantly, controlling Loki's powers inside her. She was the sorceress who locked Loki's powers in the Amulet. Freya's second.

Loraine sighed, "Yes. The first night, right after I saw him, I blacked out."

Tora pursed her lips thinking. "And did the Amulet do anything?"

"Well it glowed before I heard it whispering Loki's name."

"And how are you feeling?"

"I'm... Well, I am alright I guess? I haven't heard the Amulet ever since that night."

The sorceress stood from the bench and hovered her hand above the Amulet. "As far as I can recall, the last time you blacked out was the first time you wore the Amulet, yes?"

She nodded.

Tora wave her hand and sparks of bronze faded in. The Amulet hummed, blinking slowly. "You need to suppress it, or it could control you."

"With Seidr?" She offered.

"Yes. Every night." And with another wave of her hand, the Amulet rested. "It still amuses me how the Elders had kept this Amulet for so long yet not know anything about it."

"Freya didn't want it disturbed," she replied and the two of them started to walk. "It was only left there in the vault for many centuries until she handed it down to me."

"Goodness, Freya," Tora murmured, exasperated---her eyes staring above as if somewhere Freya could see and hear the sorceress. "This Amulet is cursed; do you remember Loraine?"

Her nails dug the inside of her palm. "I do. It steals away my life force. Everyday. I remember it every day."

"So when it tries to control you, when you black out, when you start...Hearing things, it will just maximize its capacity in doing so."

"I know."

"Very well, we're here." The gardens had opened its way revealing an empty and secluded part of Asgard. A place considered to be the barrier between the wild woods and the palace. Tora stretched her hands and boulders appeared in front of them. "Focus. Keep your Seidr. No Crowns at all. The only way for you to control his powers is to learn it."
