Te gusta
= you like
Le gusta

Examples:
1. A mi me gusta el perro. or Me gusta el perro. = I like the dog.
2. A ti te gusta el pastel. or Te gusta el pastel. = You like the cake.
3. A él le gusta el gato. = He likes the cat. *In this case, you can put "a él, a ella, or a usted" in front of "le gusta" to show the gender of the person. So in this setence, by putting "a él" in the front of the sentence, we can know that the subject is a boy.*
4. A nosotras nos gusta el vestido. = We(girls) like the dress. *Same thing applies for this sentence. If you put "a nosotras" in the front, it refers to girls. If you put "a nosotros" in the front, it refers to boys or mixed gender.*
5. A ustedes les gusta la película. = They(adults/formal) like the movie. *If you put "a ellos" in the front, it refers to boys or mixed gender. If you put" a ellas" in the front, it refers to only girls.*
