delante de ___ : in front of _____
en ___ : in, on ____
encima de ____ : on top of _____
cerca : near
lejos: far away
debajo: underneath
sobre: above
entre: between
al lado: beside
detrás: behind
*We use de(of) to connect the object with the subject using the location words.*
*Don't forget to use "estar" when indicating the location!*
Por ejemplo:
Yo(subject) estoy al lado(location word) de Julia(object).
= I am beside Julia.
El carro está cerca del(de + el) parque.
= The car is near the park.
