You tell me you've forgotten your textbook.
The small raspiness in your voice captivates me
I nod and get mine from my bag
I feel your eyes examining my exposed back.
Turning to the page that we were assigned,
I feel your arm brush mine as you get closer.
My heart flutters,
I feel your breath lightly on my neck.
You ask me if we can go up to my room.
I ask you why
"The couch is uncomfortable,"
"And maybe I just want to hang out with a cute girl with brains for once"
You smile,
And this satisfies me
