I ignore him for three whole days.

I don't need anyone else in my life that will betray me.

No more liars.

I  steer clear of his guilty aura.

I walk into my house and Leanna, my step-mom calls me into the kitchen.

"We have to talk"

"Ok"

"I have a new boyfriend," she informs me, as she flips her newly bleached hair and puckers her recently injected lips.

"Okay..."

"Aren't you jealous?!" she asks me as if she is a giddy school girl.

"Uh, no. You're my guardian, I'm happy for you"

"Yes I am, sadly. But anyway, he's coming over for dinner with his son "

"Okay...?"

"And I told him about you so he expects to be there," she says giving me a once-over

"Okay, I guess I'll go do my homework then get ready?"

"Yes. And please, try to look pretty. I know that's horribly hard for you. But try," she states with a smile

I bite my tongue as I force a smile at her

My "I'm okay, don't worry" smile always did the job

Not that she cared
