Ashton: “I wasn’t flirting with her (Y/N)!” Ashton yelled, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “Really Ashton? Really? Please, you held as close as possible, your hand staying just a little too long on her waist. Hell, the way you were talking and laughing with her basically screamed ‘hey I’m single!’” You shouted back. This was your first fight as a couple, and you felt bad about yelling but this was something you couldn’t ignore. “I was being friendly! I’m not going to reject fans!” He shouted back at you, his cheeks slightly pink from raising his voice. “Oh friendly, yeah. That seemed more then friendly Ashton.” You said walking away from him to the kitchen, you heard him follow you, clearly this wasn’t over. “Why are you making a big deal about this? I wasn’t flirting with her!” You spun around, suddenly anger flaring through your veins. “Because Ashton, that girl was way prettier then I was, way skinnier then I was and hell, probably a better person then I was! And when you talked to her, it was like you forgot you had a freaking girlfriend standing off to the sidelines. Fuck, if you want to flirt with people then maybe you should be single so you can!” You yelled, sharp tears pricking your eyes. You blinked furiously, willing them not to spill over. His expression was dumbfounded and instantly you regretted your words. You didn’t want to break up, hell it would kill you, but this was something that was always going to plague your mind. His voice broke the tense air, “(Y/N), babe, don’t think like that… she was not better then you. I only have eyes for you. Why can’t you understand that? You’re the only one for me. I was being friendly, that was all. If I was flirting with her then I’m sorry… I really didn’t mean it.” He apologized, and you could hear the truth in his words. You bit your lip, “I know you’re sorry… and I’m sorry for blowing that out of proportion but every time I see you talking to a girl, I just think… that they’re so much better than me and that you’re going to drop me in a second.” You revealed, blushing and dropped your head, suddenly enticed with the floor underneath your feet, as your told him your deepest fear. You felt his arms wrap around you, holding him close against you. His hand trailed nimbly up and down your spine, consoling you. “(Y/N), please don’t think like that. You’re the one that stole my heart, there’s no way I would leave you. Never, ever, not in a thousand years. I love you so much,” He said hugging you tightly. You hugged him back, instantly melting into his arms. “I’m sorry…” you said against his chest. “You need to stop thinking that babe; you’re the only one for me.” You snuggled into his chest, your anger forgotten.

Luke: “You should have heard the arena tonight babe, it was deafening. Honestly, I can’t believe how loud they screamed. Oh and you should have seen Michael, I was walking towards him and he was backing up and he fell against his amp, funniest thing ever! I couldn’t stop laughing and Calum had to sing my parts…are you listening (Y/N).” Luke’s face was visible through the computer screen; the reception was poor so you could almost make out every pixel on his face. “Hmm, oh yeah, that’s really funny.” You said bringing yourself back to reality. Every time you had Skyped with Luke he was talking about fans, or what the boys did. You of course listened but he never asked how you were, or what you had gotten up to. And when his stories began to wind down, he would say he had better go to bed or he and the boys were going out somewhere so he would talk to you later. You understood that he was living his dream and so much was happening in his life - he just wanted to tell you all about it - but it seemed like he wasn’t even bothering with you. “What’s up?” His crackled voice asked through the speakers. “Oh nothing, no it’s fine!” You said plastering a smile on your face. “Something’s wrong, what is it?” He asked running a hand through his hair. You bit your lip contemplating telling him. Luke wasn’t the type to get angry but when he did, you knew he was angry. “It’s fine Luke!” You said, fiddling with the hem of your shirt. “Please tell me? You’ve been acting weird lately,” Luke cocked his head to the side. “It’s just… I don’t know. You never ask about my day or anything. You’d be surprised to know that I passed my finals with flying colours and got top mark in three of my classes. You only talk about what you’ve been doing on tour, or what you and the boys are doing! I understand completely Luke, that you’re living your dream and that you’re happy, but baby. It’s hard listening to that knowing that you’re having the time of your life and I’m here. Please, take some interest in my life as well, as mundane as it is compared to yours it would be nice to hear ‘how was your day?’.” You huffed out, your hands shaking either from nerves or anger. He was silent on the other line for what seemed like ages, his face set in a hard line. “Luke, say something?” You said biting your lip. Suddenly, the screen went black, and he had disconnected. You began to panic, attempting to recall him. He wouldn’t answer, and so you shut your laptop and began to cry. How selfish did you just sound? That was extremely petty; of course he would be excited to tell you what was happening. Your phone lit up with a twitter notification, seeing as you had Luke’s tweets sent to your phone. You swiped across the screen reading the tweet: @Luke5SOS: I’m an idiot. Fuck. Immediately, tweets came flooding into your mentions asking if Luke and you had broken up. You opened your laptop and tried to recall him but Ashton answered on the second try. “Oh hey, (Y/N)!” He said waving at you. “Hey Ash, where’s Luke?” You said. “I’m not sure; he seemed pretty upset, is everything alright?” He waved his hand between yourself and the door motioning to your relationship. “I don’t know… can you find him for me?” You asked, he smiled and agreed. Moments later, Ashton pushed Luke through the door as he sat in front of the computer. “I’m so-” You began but Luke cut you off. “You have no reason to apologize… I’m so sorry babe. I… I should have asked you more. I feel really bad, you’re right. I only have been talking about myself lately. I’m so sorry; from now on you’re the focus. So, what’s been happening at home? Tell me everything.” He smiled at you, his cheeks pink. “I’m sorry though Luke,” he shook his head and waved your apology off, as you began to launch into what had been happening at home.

Calum: You were lying on the couch, watching the hands on the clock tick by. Calum was supposed to be home hours ago, you had texted him and even called him but there was no answer. You couldn’t sleep not knowing where he was so you sat on the couch and waited. You were brought out of your own little world when the door was opened. You couldn’t see him because of the corner but you heard him curse as his keys hit the floor. You heard the dead bolt click and his shoes fall into the closet, his soft steps padding towards the living room. You looked up to see him stop in his tracks when he saw you on the couch; your bottom lip trembled slightly when you saw his cold hard expression. “What are you doing up?” He asked his usual warm tone was colder. “I was waiting for you, where have you been Calum? It’s two in the morning!” You said. He walked past you to your bedroom. You got up and followed him, your heart thumping in your chest. “Calum what the fuck?” You said standing against the door frame. “I was out okay? Is that fine with you?” He bit back. He shrugged off his shirt and threw it in the hamper. “I would have appreciated a call or a text saying where you’ve been,” You crossed your arms across your chest. He turned around to you, only wearing his pants now, revealing his tattoo on his collarbone. “Do I need to tell you wherever I go now?” He said, meeting your eyes. “What the hell has gotten into you lately? Have I said something or done something? What the fuck is up with the attitude?” You said, your voice slowly rising. Before he could respond you drove your point further, “you come home late; you never tell me where you are, you barely fucking talk to me now, hell it’s like we have our own separate beds. I haven’t felt your arms around me in how fucking long? Please Calum,” your voice cracked, “tell me what’s wrong. What have I done?” Tears pilled from your eyes and you wiped them away furiously. You looked through your bleary eyes to see Calum’s face soften. He sat down suddenly on the edge of the bed and put his head in his hands. “It’s not you…” he trailed off, sighing. “God, you’ve put up with so much. I don’t know, I’m just really stressed with the new album and the up and coming tour, it’s just… I don’t know. I’m scared you’re going to leave me, and now that I think about it you have every right to. I’ve put you through hell these past few weeks. If you want me to go I can go… I’ll go to one of the boy’s houses.” He stood up and grabbed his shirt from the hamper. You hated seeing him like this, and your heart felt heavy. You walked towards him, hugging him tightly, feeling his chest swell against yours. “I’m sorry…I’m such an idiot.” He sobbed against your shoulder. You rubbed his back in a soothing motion, trailing your fingers up and down the indentation of his spine. “Hey, it’s alright. Shhh, I’ve got you. I’m not going to leave you. I love you okay?” You said trying to ease his pain. He nodded his head against your shoulder, holding you closer than he had in weeks.

Michael: “Want to come to the gym with me?” You asked as you walked into the living room with your bag slung over your shoulder. “It will be fun! We can work out together; you know the saying, couples who work out together work out!” You said laughing and leaning against the door jam. Michael looked up at you and smiled. “I’ll just stay here, you go babe!” He said. You sighed, and rolled your eyes. Grabbing your bag and turning away from him. “What was the huff for (Y/N)?” He asked and you turned around to face him. “Why won’t you come to the gym?” You said. “Because you know it’s not my favourite place to be!” “Oh so it’s fine for you to go to the gym with the boys but you won’t work out with me?” You crossed your arms and faced him. He sputtered, unable to make an answer. “Are you like embarrassed by me or something? I’m not jacked enough like the guys?” You said suddenly pissed. “It’s not that babe, it’s…”  “What is it Michael?” You said. “It’s not that I’m embarrassed by you… I’m scared that you’ll be embarrassed by me! I’m not jacked like Ashton or Calum… I don’t know I’ve seen you work out before and you go wild. Like you are a beast in there. And I kind am just like slow.” He said not meeting your eyes. You sighed and walked towards him, sitting beside him on the couch. “I’m not a beast in there Michael, I just get focused. Why on earth would I be embarrassed by you? It would be fun to work out with you! We could like reward each other with kisses and stuff! I won’t go wild; we’ll work out way up!” You said patting his leg. He put his hand on top of yours and rubbed slow circles on your hand. “Really? You aren’t embarrassed by me?” You shook your head. “Silly boy, of course not! It’s fine! Let’s go this once, and if you really, really hate it then I won’t ask you to go again,” He smiled and lifted his jaded gaze to meet yours. “Let’s go,” He said standing up and walking towards the bedroom to grab a pair of shorts and a shirt. You smiled in triumph, waiting for him to come back so you both could go.
