Ever since the evillustrator, a certain black cat has been visiting marinette, it all started when chat noir was patrolling one night without the company of his lady

as he was swinging from rooftop to rooftop he noticed there was a afaint light in the distance and decided to check it out

when he landed on the roof opposite to the light he realised he was looking at a talented, kind and selfless fashion designer who was also his classmate~marinette dupain-cheng

marinette was sitting under the light of a lamp designing a dress while munching on a plate of snacks from the bakery she lived above. chats mouth started to water at the sight of a cinnaroll (adrien the cinnaroll)

as he was staring he realised marinette was holding up one over the balcony without looking up, chat just stood there perched on the roof opposite wondering why she was doing such a thing to the golden goodness.

Marinette sighed out out of frustration calling out to the shadows that were hiding chat

'kitty if you dont come out there wont be any left for you!'

chat jumped over to the balcony of bakery rooftop and grabbed the treat offered with a word of thanks

'thanks princess, but what is someone as beautiful as you doing out here on a night like this at this late hour?'

'oh I dunno, what is a cat like you doing lurking around on a night like this at this late hour? Teased marinette with a little smirk playing on her lips

'I was on patrol checking if there was anyone who would hurt my princess' chat said with a flirtatious wink 'but princess, you still didnt answer my question'

marinette held up her sketchpad showing him the design she was working on:a midnight blue knee length dress that had a frilly net skirt and a velvet torso with a sweetheart neckline that was joined by a silver ribbon that had a matching blue net rose decorating the side

'this dress is going to be a present for my best friend, you know the person who owns the ladyblog, me and a group of friends are throwing  a party and this dress is going to be for her to wear for the party'

adrien remembered the party nino,marinette and the class were planning but  he had no idea about the dress

'have you told anyone else about this amazing design' he was breathtaken by the amazing design, knowing that it would look amazing on alya.

'no its going to be a surprise!' marinette said excitedly

Chat sat there watching marinette adding gems along the neckline of the design in an elegant swirl, while sharing the snacks and drinking the hot chocolate marinette had given him in one of the spare cups she had stashed under the table on her balcony.
