the sleepover

Once the boys had left, Marinette raced up the stairs with her friend in tow towards her room, where the two girls grabbed all the spare blankets and cushions from the closet and threw all of them in the corner of the pink room and got dressed in their pyjamas, while Alya plonked herself on top of the cushions, Marinette grabbed the plate of snacks and her tablet from her desk and laid down next to Alya.

'so~oo what was it like?' Marinette asked, with an ever-growing shit-eating grin on her face

'h-how did what go?' Alya timidly asked, her face growing redder by the second

'you know...between you and Nino? I seems it went pretty good despite him worrying about it for weeks'

'w-weeks!? What do you mean weeks?' Alya seemed a little confused with a mix of awe

'haha!Nino has been planning this for weeks! Me and Adrien was in on the plan but he's the one who picked the gift he gave you and I designed the dress around it!' Marinette stated with a giggle

'r-really?'stuttered Alya, looking at the necklace around her neck with an adoring gaze

'yes!He really cares about you and he thought of you when he chose that gift'

'what do you mean?'

'Nino must have asked me about a million times what your favourite colour was and in the end he chose silver because that literally goes with everything and the reason why he chose the necklace was because he didn't want his gift to get in the way when you're typing or doing something stupid like chasing an akuma like usual' Marinette sighed a little at the end, but nothing could dampen the soft happy glow her blue eyes were emitting towards her best friend

'oh.' Alya said softly before lying down clutching her necklace

Marinette gently shook her head at her friend's lovesick state and walked to set the rest of the snacks on her balcony in fear that a certain feline hero would drop down and Alya would start asking questions about them. Marinette wrote a quick note for her leather covered friend:

hey kitty cat

sorry but you cant come in tonight, I have Alya (you know, the lady-blogger)

sleeping over and I kinda want to avoid her questions (there will be too many to handle)

here's something to keep this stray satisfied until tomorrow!

after covering the food with a cloth and pinning the note to the cloth she went back down into her room and turned off the light before laying down next the sleeping girl. Or so she thought.

'want were you doing with the plate on your balcony?' Alya asked sleepily

Marinette looked up at her trapdoor fondly and replied 'there is just a stray that likes to visit and I usually give him something to eat'

'oh okay, night mari'

'night' Marinette replying before falling asleep and dreaming about a boy with green eyes and blonde hair.

omg im so sorry! Its just I had little motivation to write and I was getting annoyed with myself for not updating coz I know exactly what its like to wait for a fanfic to update!

I've got exams within the next few weeks but hopefully ill be able to update during that time, if I cant then definitely after
