Jealousy?

After Adrien's after-school fencing lessons, nino was waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs outside the school. "Hey bro!" Greeted nino
"how was fencing?" Adrien fistbumped his best friend in return while sighing
"you know, same old same old, so anyway how are you doing?"

"Alright man, Alya and I set up a date for Saturday and marinette took her away to go shopping for clothes, I don't even get how many clothes girls need it's just crazy!"

"Just started dating and you're already calling her crazy, what would happen if she found out!?" Adrien said dramatically, throwing his arms up in the air, Nino playing along shook his head sadly
"then I would be a dead man, and you, dude, would be best-friendless" Adrien waved his hand nonchalantly
"no I wouldn't I have Alya and Mari". The two friends started laughing, after they had both calmed down nino mentioned something that made adrien have a funny feeling that he couldn't describe,
"speaking of mari did you she what she was wearing earlier? She looked so cute that even James couldn't keep his eyes off her!"

"James?" Adrien asked

"Yeah James, from art class? Oh wait you're not in Mari's art class, but yeah there's this dude call James that Mari used to have a little crush on a few years ago but he rejected her"

"What!?" Adrien asked a little shocked, thinking how could someone even reject his princess, wait what?
However Nino misinterpreted Adrien's question
"it's ok she's fine now but she was lucky because she was rejected on the last day of school so me, Kim, Rose and juleka distracted her all through the holidays and she got over him" Nino's phone suddenly beeped indicating he had a message when he checked it he suddenly cried out in shock
"DAMN! I forgot my mum told me to go and pick up some snacks and rush home today!" Adrien looked curious
"why?"
" coz i've got family members coming over today to visit and soon my cousin is going to transfer to this school so i have to show him around the area, I'm sorry dude can we do a raincheck on the ice-cream, dude?" Adrien shrugged his shoulders and smiled
"yeah, it's fine and maybe you could bring your cousin as well!" Nino started running off while saying that he'll bring his cousin along tomorrow.

while walking home after ditching the Gorilla, Adrien decided he was going to quickly visit the dupain-cheng bakery for a snack to eat while walking the rest of the way home. upon entering the bakery he saw marinette talking to a customer but she seemed a little tense so decided to ask how she was when he went to pay for his items, so he quickly picked up a cinnamon roll (wink wink) and made his way to the front counter. when adrien got the counter he saw the customer was a boy his age and he was pestering marinette for her number
"i've told you three times already! if you want a number then here is the bakery's business card!" the boy ran his fingers through his hair and tried to seductively smirk, unfortunately it turned out looking like he had constipation,
"come on babe, i just want your number, coz then we could have some fun~, come on babe I dont bite" then he fecking winked! Adrien growled at the sight and slammed his hand on the counter
"But i do. so leave before i make you regret it" the boy  paled at the sight of the pissed boy and ran out the shop
"thank you adrien, he was really starting to get on my nerves" adrien turned around from where he was glaring at the direction the boy went to look back at his friend
"ah no it was no problem, glad i could help" then a sudden thought went through his mind and made his stomach twist and his heart clench
"uh mari, does that happen often or is this just a one time thing?"  marinette sighed
"no this happens a few times a week but usually they get the hint and arent so pushy like that guy and the ones that are pushy either get put off by papa or-- uh n-nothing! so how can i help you adrien?" adrien was still curious about what marinette was going to say but suddenly remembered the cinnamon roll that was now smushed in his hand
"oh im so sorry! i didnt mean to squish it!" marinette giggled at the sight of adrien looking downhearted at the food he had squeezed

"its ok adrien i'll get you another!"
"no it will be a waste! its alright i'll eat it like this!" but marinette had already packed up another confectionery and put it in front of him before grabbing a napkin and grabbing his hand to wipe off the cinnamon roll
 "dont worry i'll give it to jaque when he comes over next, now lets wipe your hand" that funny feeling that he couldnt name grew in adrien's stomach again at the mention of 'jaque'
"who's jaque?"
"oh he's this little pigeon that keeps popping up on my balcony, and he loves the leftovers that i give him sometimes!" marinette looked up smiling while cleaning the boy's hand, but at that moment she realised who's hand she was holding and jumped back in shock
"o-oh i-im so s-s-sorry a-adrien, u-um here's a-another n-napkin to c-c-clean y-your h-hand w-with" damn,that stutter is still cute..., i seriously need to stop thinking like this about mari, i love ladybug!
"thanks mari, and i'm sorry about the pastry" he sheepishly replied
"n-no i-its fine! i-i'll monday you see! I-i mean i'll see you monday!" "see you monday! bye!" and with that adrien walked out the bakery.

okay guys i'm so sorry it took me so long to update but i literally had no time because of exams helping with my lil siblings and i literally had no motivation but thanks to all your comments and votes and my sister pushing and brainstorming with me i finally updated! so keep on voting and commenting and i'll try my very best to write future chaps and to say sorry here is a double chap the next one is gonna be updated in a bit!

also i found out my mum is pregnant again! although i cant wait, it is a little embarrassing because one time one of my friends said my parents need another hobby and i didnt get what she meant at first....and then i did but if this is what god wills then it shall happen! i have 8 siblings younger then me (im the eldest) and now my mum is pregnant with number 10! how many siblings do you have and if you dont have any how many would you like?
