Chapter 18

I woke up and looked at my phone. It was five in the morning. I looked over and Max was passed out. I didn't wanna wake him up so I carefully got out of bed. Yea his room was set up but he was supposed to be "watching me" and I guess he just fell asleep. 

"Where are you going?" Max asked in his sleepy morning voice with his eyes still closed.

"I'm going to get some water." I said sitting back down on the bed.

He sat up and pulled me into his lap. "Baby don't leave me alone in here. Please." He pouted.

I sighed and put my head in the crook of his neck. Max smiled and kissed my neck softly. "Stop." I groaned into his neck.

"Sorry. I know you hate it when I kiss your neck but, it's cute when you groan at me. Especially when you have your sleepy voice." Max said smiling.

I climbed out of his lap and layed next to him. "It's five in the morning. Can I go back to sleep now?" Max said.

I smiled and he layed back down and passed out. My phone went off and it was from the night guard. Aaron had arrived. I got up and walke down to the elevator. I hit the button and it took me down to the first floor. I walked outside and to the front gate. There stoo a guy with purple hair and a ring in his septum.

"You must be Aaron." I said smiling.

"You must be the famous Alice."  He said. 

Then he looked me up and down. "Your hotter than Max described." Aaron said.

"Thanks. You cuter than I expected." I said walking back to the house. 

He smiled and followed.

Once we got into the house I walked up to the front desk thing where you find out where your staying. Ryan had the night shift for some odd reason. He normally works until lunch then gets the rest of the day to hang out with his friends.

"Why are you doing the night shift?" I asked.

"Lost a bet. So I have the night shift the rest of the week." Ryan said.

"Well what room is Aaron in?" I asked.

Ryan typed a few keys on the laptop and looked confused. "Max didn't set up a room. But I can have a room set up but it won't be ready until tomorrow." Ryan explained.

"Come on Aaron. I'm sure John has some room. He's really cool." I said leading him to the elevator.

We stepped into the elevator and I instantly started texting John. Basically asking if Aaron cound stay in his room tonight. When John texted back he had declined. He said he was trying to get a girlfriend so he had that girl in his room. I looked at Aaron and shurgged.

"Looks like your staying in my room. Max is supposed to be watching me because of the whole malfested thing."I said locking my phone.

"Please tell me your room isn't some frilly, girly, hot pink room." Aaron said looking at me with wide eyes.

"I'm wearing skinny jeans and shirt with skulls on it. It's no where near girly." I said stepping out of the elevator and walking down to my room.

I opened up the door and walked in. Aaron walked in closing the door behind him. 

"Welcom to my wonderful room." I said sitting at my desk.

Just like Max the first thing he saw was the play station three and the glass case full of games. I laughed at the expression on his face and turned on my laptop. The Max sat up and as soon as he opened his eyes he got up and gave Aaron the "Bro Hug".

I was just on my laptop playing fucking solitare! Here Max and Aaron are having some sort of party together! Tell me. What's wrong with this picture?

"I see you've met the wonderful and slightly delightful Alice."  Max said motioning toward me.

"Yea she met me at the front gate you lazy mother fucker." Aaron said.

"I was asleep." Max said holding his hands up.

They were such guys! I say all they think about is food, sleep, and video games. And maybe sports.

My phone went off and it was John calling.

"Hey. What ya need?" I asked.

"How do you know if a girl likes you?" John asked.

"You were the type of guy who hooked up with all the cheerleaders huh." I sighed.

"Yea." John answered.

"Well what did she do?" I asked.

"Well she laughed at my joke. Then she started talking to Ryan." John said.

"Back off." I said.

"But-" John started.

"Back. Off." I growled cutting him off.

"O-Okay." John said.

I hung up and Max and Aaron looked at me. "What was that about?" Max asked.

"John's flirting with the girl Ryan likes." I said finishing my game of solitare.

"How do you know?" Aaron asked.

"She laughed at his joke and then started talking to Ryan." I said closing my laptop.

"Ouch." Aaron and Max said at the same time.

It's seven in the morning and I was bored. My own boyfriend ditched me to hang out with his best friend So I was in the training room with John. He had his scythe and was trying to get to killing down.

I was walking around just spinning my scythe in my hand. He was getting used to the weight of scythe. He was spinning it around, swingging it at the practice dummies, and throwing it around. 

''Alright when killing an angel you mark them first. There is a G on the bottom of the handle. You mark them and then you kill them. You can toture them by cutting their leg off and let them bleed to death. Or you can to something quick and easy like cutting their heads off." I explained.

John nodded like he listening but I could tell he wasn't. I slammed the blade of my scythe into the wall next to his head. His eyes widened and he was frozen with fear. "If you can't handle being almost hit with a weapon then don't fight." I growled.

"Damn Alice. You're scary." Aaron said walking into the room.

I sighed and turned around. "He wanted to learn how to fight and he's not paying attention." I said.

"That doesn't mean paralyze him." Aaron said waving his hand in front of his face.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "What do you need you purple headed bull?" I asked.

Aaron chuckled. "The head of the house whishes to speak with you." Aaron said.

"Who?" I asked confused.

"Max's dad."  Aaron said a little worried.
