Chapter 22

I was sitting in my room still researching malfesteds when Max walked in. 

"Babe you've been up here for hours. I haven't seen you in a while." Max said pulling me into a standing position.

I sighed and kissed his nose. He scrunched up his nose and chuckled. He kissed my cheek and pressed his forehead to mine. "When was the last time you ate?" Max asked.

"Not to long ago. I had a sandwitch."I said smiling.

Max chuckled again and kissed my lips softly. I smiled and stood on my tip toes and kissed his forehead. Then Anthony walked in.

"Sorry to disrupt you guys but you have to see this."  Anthony said looking a little pale. 

"Are you alright? You look as pale as a ghost." I asked looking at him.

"We checked the GPS to see if we could locate any angels and instead of seeing angels we saw malfesteds. At least two or three." Anthony said.

"Malfesteds?" I said thinking out loud.

"Yes. The GPS has colors for each demon or angel. Grim reapers appear as black dots. Angels appear as white dots. And malfesteds appear as red dots. Unknown demons apear as orange dots." Anthony explained to me.

"And I guess malfesteds have found you babe." Max said looking at me.

"But. I don't wanna be found." I whispered.

"It's alright. I'll be beside you the whole time. I promise." Max said giving me a huge hug. 

I nodded and followed Anthony downstairs and outside. Just as we had gotten to the front gate I'm guessing the malfesteds walked up. The guards opened the gate and there stood four malfesteds.

I just stood there looking at them while they looked at me. Three of them bowed and smiled at me.

"Ms.Alice." They said as the stood up straight.

"How do you know me?" I asked.

"Your the future queen of the malfesteds." One of them said.

My jaw dropped. I must have stood there with my mind open for a while because Max looked at me and Anthony elbowed me. "Close your mouth there babe. You'll attract bugs." Max chuckled.

"And this is the future king. Also your future husband." Another guy said pointing at the guy standing in front of me.

"WHAT?!" I screamed.

They all looked at me shocked. Almost like they didn't know I could scream that loud. "F-future h-husband. M-me. F-future q-queen." I stuttered clearly in shock.

"She's not going anywhere with you guys." Max growled.

"Her father the malfested of her family said when she was sixteen we could take her get her prepared. Her father was the king of the malfesteds. There for she's roalty and she ust come with us to the palace." The thrid guy explained.

"I'm roalty? I'm just some scene girl that was murdered." I said trying to convince myself I was just going insane.

"Your the future queen. So you can bring who you want.  But you have to break up with Maxy boy here." My future husband said.

"Alice your not doing this. Are you?" Max asked me.

"I-I don't know. Right now it seems I don't have a choice!" I growled at him.

"Fine. I'll make it easy.  We're over." Max growled at me. After he said that he grabbed Anthony and they walked inside.

"I know you don't wanna marry me. But it's not the end of the world. I'm Evan." He said smiling.

He had straight platinum blonde hair that was in kinda jaggered layers. It was pretty sexy in my opion.

"If you want we can jusst go now. We can have someone go get your things and meet us back at the palace." Evan said smiling.

I nodded and we started whispering to the three other guys. A few minuets later he motioned me to follow him and I did. We got into a limo and drove off.

"So my dad was the king? " I asked.

"Yep. Then when your human side -I should say died- he said when you were brought back as a reaper we should find you. He left the throne to you. I'm Pyrrah's brother. Pyrrah was on the throne before your father. So the council said that if I found you we wold both take the throne and get married." Evan explained to me.

"My dad. Is he still alive?" I asked.

"No. We were at war a few years ago and he died. Ever since I've been trying to find you." He said.

I looked at him as he took a cigerete out of a box and lit it.

"How old are you?" I asked.

"Eighteen. Yea I know your sixteen but the palace has agreed to wait until you turn eighteen for us to get married. And since that's a few years from now we'll know more about each other and we'll be ready I guess." He answered blowing out smoke.

I sighed and pulled my knees up to my chest. He looked at me and frowned. "You alright Alice?" He asked.

"Max just seemed so angry." I sighed .

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw I had texts from Ryan, James, Ben, John, and one from Max.

From: Ryan

What the hell?! YOUR GETTING MARRIED TO A COMPLETE STRANGER?!?!?!?!

From: James

ALICE?!?!?! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!?!?!?

From: Ben

Imma miss you Alice. Be sure to call and text me!!!! And think we coulld come and visit you????

From: John

As long as I get to see and talk to you I don't mind. Make sure that guy isn't an ass to you!!

From: Max

Never. Talk. To. Me. Again. N-E-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
