Toni POV
I didn't even know Aniyah was here today until they said her name. When we got out to the track me and her was tryna see who was gonna run first.

Toni- You can run first

Aniyah- Nah man you older

Toni- Ladies first

Aniyah- Rock, Paper, Scissors for it

We hit our fists against our hands 3 times and we both shot paper so we did it again and we both shot rock so we tried again and I shot out rock again while she put out Scissors.

Aniyah- Damn

Toni- (chuckles) now go grab that piton so we can start cause everyone waiting on us

Nia- Yea y'all sitting here tryna flirt and shit (smirks)

Aniyah- Shut up (laughs)

Coach- Okay 1...2...3...GO!!!

I watched Aniyah take off running right behind Andre and Kyla. She passed Andre and was side by side next to Kyla. I extended my arm as she got closer to me. She gave me the piton and I took off running leaving everyone behind. I was halfway done with my run and I could hear Aniyah shouting my name.

Aniyah- YEEAAA COME ON TONI YOU GOT THIS!!!!

I passed her the piton and she started running. She was ahead of everyone until Trinity came next to her as they got closer to the end. Trinity stuck her foot out and tripped Aniyah. I ran over to her and helped her up but she stumbled back to the ground as I saw the huge scrape on her leg dripping blood all over the concrete. Everyone turned and looked at Trinity with anger on their faces.

Trinity- Whaaat!! It was an accident

Toni- That wasn't no accident you lying bitch

Trinity- Want me to make it up to you? (Rubbing his chest)

Toni- Get the fuck off me (pushes her off)

Coach- Diana come take her to the clinic ASAP!!

Toni- Naw I got her

I picked her up bridal style and carried her to the clinic but no one was in there like every other day. I sent a message to my nigga Samuel telling him that I was taking Aniyah to my crib cause the clinic lady wasn't there and to make sure he tell coach. I carried her out to my car laying her across the backseat. I ran around the car getting in the driver's seat heading to my house. _________________________________________
I pulled up in the driveway and got Aniyah out seeing blood stains on my seat but at the moment I didn't care all I'm worried about is Aniyah. I carried her inside and up the stairs to my room laying her across the bed.

Toni- I'll be right back OK

Aniyah- OK (hissing in pain)

I went downstairs grabbing my aid kit out of one of my cabinets. I ran back up the stairs grabbing a rag then headed back to the room sitting her up and pulling her leg over my lap. I poured alcohol on the rag positioning it to her leg.

Toni- This might sting a little

Aniyah- Hell no Toni your not putting that shit on me

Toni- Cmon it will be over before you know it big head

Aniyah- I said No your (gco) AHHH!!!!

I stuck the rag on her leg and she screamed in pain. I soon took the rag off her leg when I heard her sobs become dim. I then wrapped her leg up so it wouldn't get infected.

Aniyah- Thanks Toni

Toni- No problem babygirl

Aniyah POV
We just sat there starring into each other's eyes as our faces came closer together having out lips just inches away from one another and I could feel every breath he took then finally he crashed his lips onto mine and I finally felt safe as I kissed him back. I never thought I would find myself falling for Toni but it was happening. He deepened the kiss by licking my bottom lip asking for entrance which I granted and our tongues fought for dominance. We both pulled away breathless as I looked into his stunning green eyes making a smile appear on my face. I saw as he was leaning back in to kiss me again but then there was a loud bang on the door.
