Part 10

He knocked.

SUHANA: yes come in

He stepped in n sat on the chair opposite her, she looked up.

SUHANA: sir ap?!

DARSHAN: han, vo yeh dene aya tha. ( he said pointing towards the sandwich and juice) vo ye I think tum ne order kiya tha but vo mere cabin main de g ya. ( he knew that she had ordered for him but he just pretending)

SUHANA: nahi sir yeh main ne ap hi ke liye order kiya tha, vo ma'am ne muje bata ya ke apne breakfast nahi kiya aur bina breakfast kiya kam kar na accha nahi hao ta, u know its not good for ur health ap.. ( Darshan stopped her before she could speak any further)

DARSHAN: yaar kitna bol ti ho, maf kardo breakfast nahi kiya v hi kar ne a ya tha

Suhana was confused

DARSHAN: vo.. I mean ki muje akele khane main maza nahi a ta aur aj chinu bhi office nahi a ya toh soch a ki yaha ake kar lu ( he said having a bite of the sandwich)wha kya sandwich. Agar humare office main cantin na hota toh main office hi nahi ata.

Suhana was just staring at him enjoying his breakfast. And Darshan saw her staring at him..

DARSHAN: khana hain toh bol sak ti ho, I can share ( he said pushing the plate towards Suhana)

Suhana pushed the plate back: nahi sir thanks ap hi khaiya, main ne breakfast kiya tha

DARSHAN: nahi Kahlo mere pet main dard ho ga agar ese hi dekh ti r hi to (Darshan said jokingly and started laughing. Suhana gave him a hard glare and he kept quite, and seconds later she also started laughing)

SUHANA: sir ap bohot funny hain ( she said in-between her laughs, Darshan was just adoring her n her laughter)

DARSHAN (in mind): kitni beautiful hain aur has te hu to aur bhi beautiful lag ti hain...

There was a knock, n both of said "come in" together, and started laughing.

PERSON: sir vo MR.Mittal a ge. Vo apka conference room main wait  kar r he hain

DARSHAN: oh han. Suhana file complete ho g e

SUHANA: han sir ( she said handing the file to Darshan)

DARSHAN: to chale meeting ke liye

SUHANA: yes sir

Darshan entered the conference room followed by Suhana. They shaked their hands with Mr. Mittal. And the meeting started.

The meeting got over and Mr.Mittal was happy with their work and decided to invest the much amount Darshan wanted. Hearing this Darshan was very happy. Mr. Mittal and he sighed and sat back on the chair.

SUHANA: congratulations sir

DARSHAN: thanks Suhana agar tum ne yeh file kitni acchi se complete na ki hoti toh shayad yeh kabhi na hota ( he said genuinely thanking her and she passed a smile)

They resumed back to their work. The day was finally over. 

Darshan and Suhana were in the car.

SUHANA: sir ap muje Sharma uncle ke yaha chod di ji e

DARSHAN: kyu.. I mean ab to tumhra saman  bhi ghar pe a g ya hain

SUHANA: sir muje unhe see off kar ne ja na hain

DARSHAN: oh, vese kab hain unki flight

SUHANA: sir 2 baje

DARSHAN: what itni late aur tum akele ja r hi ho

SUHANA: don't worry sir main taxi pakad ke ghar a ja ungi

DARSHAN: nahi you can't go alone soo late, main bhi tumhre sath chal un ga

SUHANA: nahi sir, ap samaj nahi r he hain apko kal office bhi ja na hain

DARSHAN: han toh tumhe bhi toh ja na hain

SUHANA: han but sir.. (Darshan didn't let het finish)

DARSHAN: no if's and but's, muje Sharma uncle ko see off karne a na hain an that's it

Suhana could not do anything as Darshan was too stubborn.

They reached the house n Mrs. Sharma opened the house. A re bachho ao ao. Darshan and Mr.Sharma sat on in the sitting room n Mrs. Sharma n Suhana were cooking dinner.

MR.SHARMA: darshan muje pata hain muje tum he kehna toh nahi pad e ga but phir bhi keh r han hun, beta pls tum Suhana ka acche se dhyan karhna. Aryan ko sambhal ne ke liye Suhana hain but vo humare ja ne ke bad ek dum akele ho ga egi, pls beta uska hum sha khyal karh na. Main tum se esi liye keh r han hun kyuki aur koi hain nahi yaha Suhana ka.

DARSHAN: han uncle ap bikul tension mat li ji e main uska pura dhyan kar unga

MRS.SHARMA: chalo ap bate badh main mar na aphi khane ke liye a jao

At the dinning table Suhana was not having her food, instead she was just playing with the spoon, she was very sad as Mr. and Mrs. Sharma were leaving. Mrs. Sharma was showing this to Mr. Sharma by her eyes and Darshan noticed this. 

DARSHAN: apko pata hain uncle ( he said diverting Mr. Sharma's attention) aj shubhe muje koi khana ke bare main lecture de r ha tha ( both Mr. and Mrs. Sharma understood he is talking about Suhana). Ki khana kha na kitna important hain.

Suhana looked at him a started eating. Seeing this all three of them smiled. After dinner they put the luggage in the car and drove to the airport. It was a silent ride. They reached the airport, Darshan got a trolley for them and kept their luggage on it. He saw Suhana rubbing her hands and blowing on them. He went to the car and got her a jacket.

DARSHAN: ye lo ( he said forwarding it to Suhana)

SUHANA: nahi sir main thik hun

DARSHAN: tum har bat main na keh ti ho, ab thandi lag r hi hain to le lo na

SUHANA: par sir main ne kahna main thik hun

Darshan just placed it over her shoulders: chup chap pehen lo

Mr. and Mrs. Sharma just smiled at them.

It was time to say good bye. Suhana was trying hard not to cry but she couldn't stop herself. She was not letting them go. Darshan held her by her shoulders and indicated them that he is there and will keep care they can leave peacefully.

They started walking away and Suhana coverd her face with her hands n turned and rested it on Darshan's chest and started crying badly. Darshan put an arm over her protectively ...
