Step, sway, twirl, spin
Fell your heart race within
Like the swelling music, let your feelings rise as well
The story of your life through your movements tell
Your footwork is the substitute for your voice
While your limbs hint at sadder choice
The routine is your narrative
And the stage in that moment is for all that you live
Show them your emotions, your inner most desire
Let them see your passion raging like fire
Inspire others to push through the pain
For if they succeed, it's their triumph to gain
As the music comes to a gradual end
Your dance is over but a new one begins
For you are always dancing either on stage or in your heart
So don't let others snuff out your spark
