The time of the second event was in a few hours and the champions were as high strung as ever.
"Hey Harry, you have learned what the challenge is, right?" I ask at breakfast.
"Yep, bet you don't know. How could you?" He said with pride.
"Actually I do know." I said knowingly.
"How?" Little birdie told me.
(Off somewhere in the forest Charlie sneezed.)
"Why didn't you tell me?" Harry asked taken aback.
"Well where's the fun in that?"
"Alison, Fred and George are looking for you." Ron said as he walked up.
"Thanks for telling me, where are they?" I said and rose from my seat.
"Common room." He said and chomped down on a strip of bacon.
"You've gotten close with the Weasley twins, haven't you?" Harry inquired.
"Well why not, I'm friends with their sister, am I not?"
"Fair point." Ron and Harry said together.
On that note I left the great hall.

The portrait hole opened and I saw two pairs of eyes staring at me intently.
"What's with you two?" I asked and took a seat by the fire.
"We saw you sneaking 'round the dark forest last night, didn't we Freddie?"
"That we did Georgie." They said and looked at me after taking their seats.
"And who should we find walking up to you but our very own brother." George adds on.
"You two seem rather chummy." Fred said raising and eyebrow.
"So what if we are?" I said defensively.
"People with adventurous minds like our might start jumping to conclusions." George said.
"And we have very adventurous minds." Fred added.
"That sounds dirty."
"Good, glad that's coming through." They said together.
"May I ask you two a question?"
"Go right ahead." They say together again.
"Why were you two watching me at all hours of the night?"
"We were instructed." Fred says simply.
"By whom?"
"That's classified." George said.
"Just spill it." I said and gave them a smile that seemed more murderous then sweet and innocent.
"Charlie." They said and jumped behind the couch in fear.
"Thanks for sharing." I said then sat back and thought about that.
Why would Charlie get the twins to watch me?
"Why were you ordered to do this?"
"He asked for some reason and we were more than willing to watch you."
"Then again we would have watched you anyways."
"What did you two just say?" I asked in dismay.
"Nothing." They said quickly then ran up the stairs.
"What the hell?" I said under my breath.
"By the way, Charlie wants to see you in between matches. Told you to find him by the arena entrance." One twin said quickly, popping his head out from behind a corner. Quickly disappearing after the message was delivered.
Another mysterious meeting. This is becoming a thing.

The hours went by fast and the matches were about to get started.
I waited outside the arena for Charlie to show up.
"Hey beautiful!" Charlie called and ran up.
"Hey, what's with that greeting?" I wave to him.
"Just saying what I see."
"Smooth."
"I hope you don't miss seeing the matches." He said solemnly.
"Not at all. I've already seen them up close." I said reassuring him.
"That's good." He said and looked at me.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Just looking at how cute you are today." He said with a grin.
My face went bright red.
"Do you have a fever?" He asked and brought his forehead to mine.
"N-n-n-n-no." I stammered and tried to set back.
"Let's just make sure." He then firmly pressed his lips against mine.
My eyes went wide and I couldn't totally process what was happening.
When he pulled away he looked into my eyes.
"How would that tell you if I had a fever?" I asked and took half a step back.
"I've been wanting to do that for a while. Don't deny me my pleasure." He said softly and pulled me close into his chest and kissed me again. This time I accepted it and kissed back.
"Wicked."
I pulled away quickly and turned my head to see Fred and George staring.
"Don't stop now." Fred said and made a gesture for us to continue.
"Don't let us interrupt." George said and made the same gesture.
"Let's do as they say." Charlie said and kissed me once more.
