a/n: this is not my favorite chapter, but I didn't know really what else to write. This is really a filler to start out the start of season six. So yeah. Sorry.

Glenn POV

I got back late yesterday and after watching... That.. Happen to Noah, I really just wanted to be alone. I spent the rest of the night locked in my house, in my room. Mine.. I hate calling it that. It never lasts.
After an awful night of sleeping, which included several nightmares, I rolled out of the bed and made my way to the porch. "Hey.." I sighed, sitting on the step besides Carl who was holding Judith. "I'm sorry about Noah, we all are." He said with a frown. "It was Nicholas' fault." I said through clenched teeth, "The fuck couldn't handle the real word." He let out a soft chuckle and nudged me slightly, "It's your day for gate watch. I know work is probably something you don't want to do, but it's gotta be done I guess." I nodded slightly and patted his shoulder before I stood up and headed towards the gates, Rick and Jessie were there. They were.. Arguing it seemed. "Everything good? It's my shift." They quickly silenced. "What?" I questioned, my lips pursed. "Nothing, I'll just.. Uh.. Go." Jessie mumbled before running off. I raised an eyebrow and looked over at Rick, "Did I do something?" "Nah, no. Just... Well. Last night. (Y/n) kinda left. Sometime during the night she got out and ran off. We have no idea where she went. Jessie said she was talking about leaving and when she woke up, she was gone. Along with her stuff and a gun." He said with a slightly frown. I could feel the blood rush from my face, my heart was pounding. "Rick, I'm going to find her. You know that right?" "You can't. We need you here, I know you want her to help us, but I've sent Tara and Abraham to go looking, alright? We'll find her eventually." I sighed and nodded, please find her... Please.

It's been days... She's still gone... Tonight is this meeting thing about if we should stay or not after Rick's big outburst with Pete. It's a little late, but they're both acting somewhat normal now. I'm supposed to go, but I don't know if I'm going to. It's been relatively calm and quiet, though. Aside from my pain of not having her here.. I miss her. I really do... I cringe as the scrapes of metal ricochet through my ears... Nicholas was climbing the wall. He's up to nothing good.
He's somewhere out here.. He knows I'm following him. Maybe he's dead. Who even knows with this dumbass. That's when I hear it, the small pop of a gun. A burning sensation runs through my arm as the bullet pierces the top of my shoulder. The dumbass shot me.. I roll down a small hill and groan, holding where the bullet hit, his frantic footsteps rush down the hill, but only to be stopped by a walker. Fucker can't even stab a walker...

(Y/n) POV

I never stray far from home. It's something I've never been able to do, so when I start hearing gun shots and people yelling? Hell yeah I'm coming to the action. But never visibly. I frown deeply as Nicholas and Glenn begin to beat the hell out of one another... I should interfere, but that would mean I'd have to go back to Alexandria. I watch closely as Glenn stabs the walkers that begin to pile on top of him, he's not the one I should be watching though. I narrow my eyes and hop down from the tree, running in Nicholas' direction. Time passes and Nicholas is as idiotic as ever. Glenn, however, stays close on his trail, not noticing me thank god. Then it happens. I watch in agony as Glenn throws him to the ground and holds a gun to his head, he's talking, but I can't tell what it is. I snap from my glance as Glenn yells through clenched teeth, "Shut up!" The gun still against his forehead. I close my eyes tight, waiting for the gun to sound, but it never comes. He's crying... They both are. Go. Just go to him. You can't stay away forever, dumbass. I sigh and step out from behind the tree, walking slowly to the two men. "Glenn..?" I clear my throat as he quickly turns around, holding up his gun without hesitation, but dropping it as he stands up.
"(Y/n)..."
