It looks like any other court room I've seen on T.V.; benches are on either side of a skinny isle, the whole place made from different ranges of dark and light oak. A large platform and large desk sits against the wall in the front of the court room, where the judge sits. There's a stand/ bench next to him where the witness is questioned and against the wall is another set of benches but there's are stadium seated, getting higher as you go up. Two large desks sit in front of the rows, one on each side of the room, a small gate separating the desks and benches.

Vincent takes my hand and pulls me in a little further. There's hardly anyone in here, a couple scattered people; maybe some from the case before this one. Vincent pulls me over and we slide into a bench on the right side towards the back, I smile at him mentally thanking him for not dragging me to the front. I place my hands in my lap over the dress with my leg shaking nervously, Vincent grabs my hand and kisses it lightly. By the action I take a deep breath and nod at his golden eyes as they look calmingly at me.

"Addie!" I hear someone say and I jump and whip around

I let out a deep breath to see my Mother smiling at me, she moves down the isle to us hurriedly while my Father walks down slower. She sits down next to me and throws her arms over me "can you believe it's finally here?" She asks against my shoulder, the smell of her hairspray hitting me like a brick wall

I smile and pull back a little "I know, a year later" I say and she nods, her brown eyes lined lightly with makeup

"Finally put him away for good" she says taking my hand as Vincent stands and reaches over to my Father

"Good morning Mr.Bentley" he says his voice deep

My Father nods with a small smile "call me Royce, how are you Vincent?" He asks reaching out his hand and shakes Vincent's

"I'm great" he says smiling down at me and I blush up at him

I stand and hug my Father "Hey dad" I say against his suit as I hug his waist, he hugs me back and smiles when I pull back

"Hello darling, how are you handling this, are you still testifying?" He asks and I nod

"I'll be ok as long as I can help put him away" I say honestly

"I couldn't do it, I'm glad I don't have to testify, they just read my statement right?" My mother asks almost horrified at the thought of going up there and speaking

"Yes Mom don't worry" I say calming her as we all sit down on the hard bench

Vincent takes my hand and places our intertwined hands in his lap, my Mother rubs my other arm lightly. We didn't bother coming for the trial of the others but Bailey filled us in. Tommy got life for attempt murder and a million other charges associating him with crimes with Theo and his past. Rico got fifteen years for breaking an entering, kidnapping and working with Theo, for the other couple that survived I'm not sure about. As for the other people that invested in Theo's business, like what Theo wanted Vincent to become, the cops and FBI are still trying to distinguish who knew and who didn't, but there fate is yet to be known. I'm pretty sure the cartel or mafia was involved so Theo's been protected in jail. Im sure they're pissed for being busted and it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't live out his sentencing, I can't say I care much. I don't know much but Bailey told me they only caught them in a couple of charges so the gang members won't be inside long.
