"I just talked to Irving," Julius stated as he entered a room where Moe was sitting behind a desk.
"And?" Moe pressed.
"He said it wasn't him...said he doesn't know where the old man is," Julius replied. "I just told him to be there on Friday and hung up."
"Hmmm...he might be bluffing...or he might not be," Moe said. "Maybe Jasper was right...maybe it was someone else. We'll see what he has to say on Friday, but just in case it ain't him, I'll tip off the press...have 'em put out a story on the girl's kidnapping...front page headline..."
"What for?" Julius asked. "Won't that just bring the heat?"
"Nothing I can't handle...and Arthur won't be able to stay away when he finds out that his daughter is missing," Moe explained. "He'll come to us."
