**XANDER's POV**

It's been a week nang matapos ang business related matters na kailangan kong puntahan kasama si Dad kaya bumalik na ulit ako sa pag pasok sa school since then.

I'm Mike Alexander Hernandez, My dad came from a wealthy family as well as my Mom. It was a political marriage.

Anyway, I'm actually shocked to see how Brent improved in Academics. Nakakasagot na sya sa mga tanong nang professors namin at matataas na din ang mga nakukuha nyang scores. Halata din na ganado syang mag aral.

Bumalik na ulit ako sa condo ko at si Brent naman ay binilhan nang Mommy nya nang condo just below my own.

Yes, close na ulit si Brent sa parents nya since his grades improved a lot. His parents were so proud of him kaya binili nila lahat nang gusto nya and his allowance doubled. He also got a brand new car and I've heard that his father will buy him a villa.

Also, pinapayagan na ulit kami nang Mommy nya na pumunta sa bahay nila. She even welcomed us personally.

First time lang makakuha ni Brent nang mataas na grades so his Mother was boasting it sa mga kaibigan nito. He's treated like a prince again.

But the thing is, Hindi pa nila alam ang tungkol sa girlfriend nya. They were too busy to care for whatever he's doing. Ang gusto lang nila ay tumaas ang grade ni Brent.

Maxie Shanell Montejo, The girl that I've been trying to approach too. Matagal ko nang gustong lapitan at kausapin si Maxie but I don't have the guts to do so.

I want to hug her.

I want to spend time with her too.

I want to get to know her more.

I've known her for so long but all I could do was to look at her from a distance.

I did put a lot of letters into her locker for the past few years. She read my first letter to her but after that, all my other letters were just thrown to the trashcan and she didn't even bother to read it.

I was hoping that one day babasahin nya din ang mga sulat na iniiwan ko sa locker nya that's why I always make sure na makakapag iwan ako nang letter so locker nya kahit gaano ako ka-busy.

I've always been secretly following her around.

Foundation day nang University namin and open ang mga colleges since may events din sila so niyaya ko ang mga kaibigan ko na pumunta sa College of Education.

I just want to see Maxie and I was proud to see that she was the emcee of their event.

After the foundation day, When I was on my way to leave another letter on her locker I discovered something-interesting.

I was shocked to see Brent sneakily put a letter on Maxie's locker. Yes, I was the first one who discovered that Brent liked someone.

I don't want to get them into trouble that's why I acted like I know nothing.

I didn't even get to put my letter on Maxie's locker. I was disappointed.

Naiinggit ako kay Brent dahil nagawa nyang lapitan si Maxie.

The first time that I got to approach her was when Brent hit her. I want to talk to her but she's unconscious that time.

"Xander! Hey bro" I was snapped out of my stupor nang tawagin ako ni Ghelo.

"I'm sorry bro. May iniisip lang ako" Ininom ko ang wine na ibinigay nya at napayuko na lang ako.

"Yeah, halata namang distracted ka" he shrugged.

Ghelo Jherole Sanchez is one of my friends too. He's a nice guy even though he came from a wealthy family.

He's humble at masipag din sya. He works on a bar as a manager and his parents supports his decision. They want him to learn how to be independent and they believe that he's old enough to make his own decision.

Actually, pinsan sya ni Brent.

Ghelo told me na close sila ni Brent nuong bata pa sila. But Brent started to hate him simula nang ipagkumpara sila nang Mommy ni Brent.

Ghelo doesn't hate Brent though. He can understand him. Alam nya naman na hindi magandang maipag kumpara sa iba. He blamed Brent's mother instead. Ghelo hates Brent's Mom dahil napaka perfectionist nito.

"I want to talk to a girl but I'm afraid. I can't even approach her" bulong ko. Up until now I still want to talk to Maxie.

"Then go for it. Walang mangyayari kung hanggang tingin ka na lang" He encouraged me and he even patted me on my shoulder.

I sighed heavily habang nag iisip.

He's right. I really want to spend some time with Maxie kaya kailangan ko nang lakasan ang loob ko.

And I think it's better kung lalapitan ko sya kapag wala si Brent.

I need some time alone with her after all.

"Are you in love?" tanong naman ni Ghelo habang tumatawa. I frowned then I glared at him bago ko naisipang iwan sya.
