Hinata grabbed his bag, rushing out of the gym. He wanted to get away from the school as soon as possible. The longer he stayed, the more likely the chances that he'd run into Kageyama. He made a dash for his bike, thinking over what his motherly upperclassmen had told him. Being in love is wonderful. It's a warm, fuzzy feeling that you can't simply just quit. You'll want to stay with this person forever.

Kageyama poked a hole in his drink, sipping nervously on the straw. He turned the corner in a rush, not wanting to stick around. You'll want to protect them. Care for them. Provide for them. Have them rely on you. That was what Daichi told him. He cursed silently under his breath, stuffing his hands in his pockets. That was exactly what he felt towards Hinata. He rounded the corner and looked up, pausing in his tracks. His heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. Orange hair. Volleyball Club jacket. He swallowed anxiously, unmoving. Maybe if he just stood here he could get away quietly. He wouldn't have to talk to Hinata -"K-k-kageyama?! I was just on my way to practice, I swear!"
