Chapter 4

Nicky's POV

I woke up an hour or two later. I cried myself to sleep a while ago. It's 6:35 now, I still have 25 minutes to get ready for dinner. I went to my closet then got clothes. I showered then played on my phone after. Ring ring ring someone's calling me. I checked it and saw it's Lisa.

"Hey Nicz!" - L

"Hey Lise." - N

"Hey you don't sound so well.. Are you sick?" - L

"I just woke up. I'm not but I think I'm gonna be." - N

"Take some rest sweetie and drink medicine. We'll talk again when you're feeling okay." - L

"I'll drink later after dinner." N

"Okay, I'm going to end this. Take care sweetie. I love you!" - L

"I will. I love you too." - N

Lisa ended the call then I went downstairs for dinner.

"Good morning sleepy head." Christian greeted me.

"Is dinner ready?" I asked.

"Maybe in a couple of minutes. Watch some tv first." Christian said. I nod then went to the living room to watch tv.

I'm laying here on the couch, watching some tv while waiting for dinner. Seconds later I felt sleepy. I can't decide if I'm going to wait for dinner or just go to sleep. My eyes are getting heavy, I can't help but sleep.

I woke up in my room. Wow I teleported. I looked at the time. 8:30am. Omg I'm so late for school. I showered quickly. I went downstairs to ask Christian why he didn't wake me up.

"Chris why didn't you wake me up? I'm late for school." I asked

"You're sick. You're not going to school. I texted your teacher already." Christian said.

"Oh.. Thank you." I said.

"No problem. Now, eat your breakfast then change into your pajamas. Drink your medicine after." Christian commanded. I nod then did what he said.

I got my breakfast then went to my room. I ate then changed into my pajamas.

Just laying in my bed, doing nothing. It's so boring when you're at home in a school day. But at least I didn't get beaten up today.

I'm just going to call one of the girls. Christina, Lisa or Lauren? I still don't have the numbers of the others. I'll just call Christina.

"Hey Nicky!" - C

"Hey mom." - N

"Are you in school?" - C

"I'm not. I'm sick and my brother told me to stay home." - N

"Take some rest, okay?" - C

"I will." - N

"Nick, sorry to end the call but I need to go grocery shopping. Hang out on Saturday okay?" - C

"Okay. Lisa will pick me up." - N

"Okay. Bye sweetie!" - C

"Bye mom." - N

Christina ended the call. Now I'm soooo bored. I got my box, then looked through the stuff inside it. I saw my sketch pad. I got it and my pencil and other drawing materials. I sketched a house with a happy family. I wish that this was my family. A happy and whole family.
