Okay so basically I was just looking through the the code of conduct for Wattpad and looking at what rules I should probably avoid breaking, and then this caught my eye. Okay so first of all let me just break this down to express my point.
1. Technically Wattpad contradicts this.
Okay so first of all, Wattpad is a place where you can turn any of your thoughts and feelings into a story and create a book for people to enjoy. Now what is the difference with ranting? With both, you just take your thoughts and feelings and put it down, but nope, to Wattpad, apparently the only way this is acceptable is if you turn your thoughts and feelings into a whole dam fake story. This just doesn't make sense to me, because people also enjoy rants and people need a place to rant where they won't be judged, and Wattpad is really friendly when it comes to this.
2. I understand
Let me just quickly say that I understand the rest of the rules that Wattpad has put in place, this is the only one that bothers me.
Okay so yeah maybe I'm just getting mad over nothing, but this just bothered me because it seems stupid. I know that the creators of Wattpad are just attempting to create a safe place to allow everyone to have a good time and all that stuff, but this part just shouldn't be something they say shouldn't be allowed. Now of course this is not well enforced because there's obviously thousands of people who rant and nothing happens, but I don't know, I just had to speak about this.
