Harry's voice wakes me in the morning, though not on purpose. I sit up carefully from his extremely comfortable bed and stretch my arms. The clock reads only 8 but I can almost swear it is later. It feels as if this is the only good rest I have gotten since I have arrived here.

I listen carefully to Harry's voice as I tie my hair in a tight bun.

"Settle down with me

And I'll be your safety

You'll be my lady

I was made to keep your body warm

But I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms

Oh no

My heart's against your chest, your lips pressed to my neck

I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet

And with this feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now

Kiss me like you wanna be loved

You wanna be loved

You wanna be loved

This feels like falling in love

Falling in love

We're falling in love"

I haven't even noticed that I moved all the way to the doorway of his bathroom, leaning against it slightly, listening to his voice.

"Charlie?" he calls suddenly. I hold my breath and take a step back from the bathroom. Moments later, I hear his voice rejuvenate and his chords fills the room like the sound of morning birds.

Notebook reference again. Is this really the notebook? Is he a bird? Am I a bird?

No, I am most certainly not a bird.

Moments after, I hear the shower halt and a slight groan. His footsteps paddle on the pavement behind the door and I wonder if he is looking at himself in the mirror, his eyes grazing over his sleeve made of gardens, ships, birds, Hebrew, fallen pages...

Oh god.

I feel embarrassed with myself that I have even been looking at his arm that much. Suddenly, the knob on the door wiggles so I step to the side of the door and wonder what the hell I am doing.

When the door swings open, I make a quick decision to jump in front of it in an attempt to scare him.

"Boo!" I scream. Harry, actually surprised and not expecting a greeting behind the door puts his hand on his chest and leans over a bit.

"Fuck, Charlie." He says not so eagerly, but within a second a smile appears on his face.

"Hi." I say. I don't know what I am doing . I also don't know why my body forcefully made myself listen to Harry sing in the shower or why the hell I didn't run back to bed when he got out.

"Why are you awake?" Harry frowns at me.

"What's wrong with being awake?"

"Did I wake you?" his eyes widen.

"No." I bite my lip.

His eyes slightly roll. "You need rest. Go back to bed."

"Sorry Dad, not happening." I cross my arms. I appreciate whatever kind of kindness he is trying to attempt but let's not go in that direction.

"Well, you need to eat. Anywhere in particular you would like to go for breakfast?" this time he smiles. Bipolar.

"I was just planning on eating on campus. I should probably explain to Jo why I wasn't in the dorm last night. She has been pretty freaked out about Dominique too." I sigh.
