"Can you not, I'm trying to fill out these papers" I groan
"Damn why so grouchy all of a sudden, you were fine yesterday"
"I'm just.. Just tired" I tell her. After graduation, something just clicked when I saw Alice. I realized so much, I miss her. But she never let me explain myself. So now I'm stuck here. With Paige.
"Then let's go to bed, you've had a long day"
"I have to fill out these papers, you know that. Just go without me, I'll be there in a few" I told her
When I knew she was in bed, I broke down crying. It's like the whole world turned against me and left me with the girl who ruined my life. But she's helped me a lot, she's letting me stay here cause my parents kicked me out of the house when I told them I was gay. That hurt like hell. But I can't help like girls.
I decided to go out, anywhere but be here. So I went to a corner market to get a drink and a snack, but I ran into Alexis.
"Hey" she started with a smile
"Heyy, what are you doing out this late?" I smile back
"Oh nothing, just getting some stuff for a friend" she says but obviously she's talking about Alice, which tears me up inside.
"How is she doing?" I ask, then regret it.
"She's doing good actually, you?" She asks
"That's good.. And same" I lie
"You need to get over her Sophie, Alice has and she's changed, a good change. You should do the same" she tells me
"I know it's just hard, and painful" I laugh harshly and feel the tears
"What's taking you so long?!" We both look over to see Alice and when she sees me she says whispers "oh"
When did she get glasses.. And braces? She looks so fucking cute, it hurts.
"Sorry, I should get home, I'll see you around" I tell Alexis
"Alright, see ya" she says back
I pay for my stuff and head back to my car, it's late out 12:37 am.
I feel my body get pushed up against my car painfully. "Ouch. Fuck!" I groaned
"Shut the fuck up" I hear a mans voice then a hand cover my mouth. I feel his other hand touch me over my clothes. I'm scared.
I feel his hands go up my shirt, I start to cry. This really can't be happening. I'm dreaming this. I will wake up.
In a quick motion I feel his body tear off of mine, I open my eyes...
The guy is on the ground knocked out while Alice staring at him, then to me, "you okay?" She asks
I shake my head no as tears roam down my cheeks. She walks over to me, her sent of sweet citrus surrounds me. She's always smelled like fruit, and I don't even know why, but it makes me feel safe.
"Do you want me to call the cops?" She asks
I shake my head no again
'Do you want me to kiss you and make you feel safe'
"Do you want me to take you home?" She asks
.... I slowly nod my head yes. She gets into my car and starts it up. I tell her the directions since I'm living at a different place.
"Did you move?" She asks
"No, I live with a friend"
"Leo?"
"Uh, no, um Paige" I say awkwardly
It didn't seem to hurt her when I said that
"You guys together now?"
"Yeah"
She shakes her head then looks at me for a second then back at the road "Does your parents know about her?"
"Yep, that's why they kicked me out of the house. Because I like girls" 'a girl' 'you'
She stops at a red light "sorry to hear that"
"Its really okay, I've been through worse." 'Like losing you' "but I wasn't that close with my family anyway, sooo"
"Still though, they are your parents" she says and drives again.
"I know and it's fine." I say "you've changed a lot" i add
"I get that a lot"
"You look like a nerd"
"A hot nerd though, right?" She laughs, oh my god I missed your laugh
"Sure, you can say that" I laugh too
She stops at the house and gets out with me giving me my keys, "sorry that I had you drive me" I said
"No need, I don't live that far away" she stands there, looking at me
"I um uh, I missed you" I said awkwardly
She nods "I missed you too"
My heart melted.
"I should get going." She says
"Yeah, I should head in"
"Well then, I'll see ya" she says while looking me in the eyes, fuck. She walks closer to me, were she's only a foot away.
I feel her soft hand on my cheek, she move into it with a small smile loving the feeling of her skin on mine. We both keeping looking into each other's eyes, as she leans in close to me, our foreheads are pressed against each other's, I can feel her hot breath on my lips, the moment got really hot, I wanted to feel her lips on mine,
"Kiss me"
