CHAPTER 7: A TWIST OF FATE

Seeing the buckle on the side of the saddle, Teeko did his best to break or atleast loosen it. Finally throughing the rider, he turned his head and pulled at the buckle. Loosening it off, the saddle fell onto the ground. Ryuu gasped at how wet and sweaty Teeko was. Panting, he had his head lowered and walked over to the gate patiently. Ryuu quickly took off the bridle and halter. Quietly, when no one was looking, most were caring for the rangler who had a good hard fall, opened the gate just enough for Teeko to slip through. Trotting off, he went over to one of the mares close by and recognized her. She was a palomino, with bright blue eyes. THis was her first mare, and he deeply loved her, nuzzling and feeling her all over they both reunited. Trotting back to Ryuu, he nickered quietly and took him over to the palomino, named Candy. Ryuu understanding, untied Candy and quietly showed them the gate ot freedom.
