"You shouldn't have done what you did back there.",

She spoke, breaking the cringey silence,

Contrarily, thankful for,

Their unannounced alliance

"He called you..names. Who was he anyway?"

He chose his words carefully,

Regarding the way her eyes avoided his,

Possibilities aroused in his mind as he flinched

A minute passed,

Then two,

"My step-father.",

She whispered meekly,

His eyes shut close, bleakly

💔

"Where are we going?"

"Del Posto."

She made a face,

"I'm not a complete romantic case."

He smirked at her before

Turning back on the road

"Well then, where to, mademoiselle?"

Suddenly, her expressions lit up and glowed

"We can get pizza?"

She suggested gleefully

"Alright. I know just the place."

He agreed and sped down the boulevard, breezily

💜

"This place is my sanctuary."

Rain viewed the crashing waves and sighed dreamily

"And you're mine."

Bitting his tongue from speaking the truth, vehemently

She brought up her legs and

Dropped her head on her knees

"What did you say to my father?"

Shrugging, he held her hand, giving it a squeeze

They sat there,

on the creek,

side by side

Until the sun had nowhere to hide,

But behind the sky high mountains

That drowned the light

Until it died.

Whaaaaattt?

I can't believe I wrote it. Woah!

I thought I would never touch Deflated Rain ever again!
But I did. That's big for me 😭

And maybe my writing from here on would differ from the previous six chapters because I wrote them two years ago.

That's a lot of time for an update. But 'Better late than never' right?

Anyways hopefully, I'll update this from now on too!

So, how was this? I'm kinda nervous it's not good like the first ones...do tell
