Glowing Rain - commission

Constellations dance high over head,
covered by thick clouds of grey.
Rain patters against the forest terrain,
glimmering in the light of the full moon.

Off in the distance and shrouded in mystery,
a flicker shines like no other.
Bioluminescence a stunning blue,
creating a glow tinted with oceans.

A sea of light erupts,
all being varying shades of depression.
They are all different,
yet still somehow work as if one, living against the odds.

Mosaics of emotion scattered through the wilderness,
delivering feeling where there once was none.
It intensifies with each moment spent,
radiance out-shimmering all.

The rain stops,
the sky is suddenly clear.
However, the lights are what still remain,
reflecting against the dew as if each individual drop were a prism.

A ripple is sent out through the universe,
and all somehow feels complete.
Peace is achieved and silence reigns over all,
and the glow fades,
receding back into the darkness from whence it came.
