She exudes a calmness, a serene expression
Yet behind the stony facade she screams for help.
Can you see it?

She speaks with a tone of exotic richness
Her laughter sweet and light, but in reality it's forced
Can you hear it?

She walks delicately, her footsteps silent
A cautious pace, like she stands on broken glass
Can you feel it?

She responds from "Are you alright?" with "I'm fine"
But as the words leave her mouth, her heart betrays her
Can you sense it?

A broken girl inside, a normal girl outside
Waiting, waiting for someone to save her
Can you be it?

I stand as this girl, someone begging for help
Yet no matter how hard I plea, no one comes
Which leaves a question, forever unanswered...

Can you hear me?
