"So, what did you talk with Christina?" I question him.
Charles looks at Christina and Christina looks at Alarick. Charles still haven't answered my question.
"Am I missing something?" I ask them.
"Some questions are answered at the right time," Christina says.
Charles suppresses his laughter while Daniel buries his face in his hands.
"From where did you get that?" I ask curiously. She points to Daniel.
Daniel uncovers his face and says, "Yeah. Those are my pearls of wisdom. I had no idea that she would catch them up so fast." He somehow seems embarrassed about it.
"It's time for us to go," I say.
"I'll accompany you to your pack," Alarick says as he steps forward.
"No. You don't need to bother," I politely refuse.
"It's really no bother," he replies.
It is decided that Alarick would accompany Christina and me to our pack. We head outside the pack house and towards my pack. Christina is walking between me and Alarick. So, this is how it feels to work on our relationship. Alarick took the first step and I just have to walk with him side by side.
I'm so occupied by my thoughts that I don't realize Angelina coming towards me with fire in her eyes.
