Chapter 20 "dont act like theres always Tomorrow"

I was suddenly woken up to the sound of a car door being shut, I jumped and instinctively looked around, noticing that everyone was in the car besides rick

"what's going on" I groggily asked Lori, and i yawned

"the Rv stopped, rick didn't wanna wake you" Lori answered, turning around to me, I nodded my head, taking in a deep breath and I gently moved Carl forward, and he climbed to the front seat where his farther was, i stepped out of the car then, stretching my arms over my head

I was a mixture of half refreshed and half feeling like I've slept for 8 years

I felt a hand touched my side and noticed it was Shane, we kept walking and I then followed along side him

Circling around the Rv I noticed rick and dale talking beside a steaming motor, I turned to Glenn and gave him a questioning look, he simply shrugged

"we need to find a new motor" tdog said from behind me, I turned around to him

"cant just jurry rig it?"  I asked, tdog shook his head

I sighed, patting his shoulder "well you doing alright" I asked

"doing fine" he answered, I nodded as I walked away

"I see Somthing up ahead" Shane called out, turning to look at me "gas station if where lucky"

"yall, Jim, he's not doing to good, I don't think he can't last much longer" Jackie suddenly burst from the Rv, calling to us before running back in

"iris, rick, you hold down the forth will I check ahead?" Shane asked, I nodded to him, and he walked to go back to his car while rick went into Jim

"you not gonna go in?" Andrea asked, looking me up and down as if to size me up

I shook my head, clenching my jaw "no..."  I said simply, turning away from her

Rick had walked back out of the Rv, and seemed rather quiet as we waited for Shane, it took about five minutes before he returned, as he drove down to park his car rick turned to me

"Jim wants to be left behind" he mumbled to me, I looked up at him in shock

"what?" I gasped "rick you can't be Seriouse"

Rick looked down, shrugged "it's what he wants" he said, looking up and me again for advice

I sighed heavily, placing a hand on the Rv "let's just fix this... And we'll see what happends..." I answered, rick agreeing

Shane braught the supplies up to us, but dale couldn't reach inside far enough, so I stepped up as i knew a few things about this, I grabbed the wrench and oil, basically having to go into the Rv waist deep, I felt a little uncomfotable in this position with the ground all standing behind me, but I knew I needed to get over it

Finally after fixing it up and putting the tools away, rick braught everyone together to talk about Jim, he explained to everyone what Jim wanted, some staying silent while others said there piece

"it's not your choice.. Anyone of you" Lori said

"your right.. But Jim doesn't know what he's asking.. Non of us do.. Noone knows what happends when you turn" I stated "is he sure he wants to risk it" I said, turning to rick, rick simply looked down seeming stressed, and I pursed my lips

"I'll ask him" I said, getting into the Rv

"hey Jim" I said awkwardly as I walked threw the small Rv towards him

"okay... So I need to ask you Somthing... Are you sure you don't want us to put you down? You really want to become one of them Jim?" my tone sounded like I was trying to convince him to reconsider, which I was
