NEBULA IS BACK BABY! I have had this partially finished one shot about Nebula, the space horse(lame I know). I get it sounds a little stupid, but I mean the Nova are basically space Knights and what's a knight without a horse? To me, every knight needs a horse! So no judging this!!! No idea who Nebula is? Well, you should! Look back in this book and find a few pictures I have! Now, it is fairly short so I'm warning you!

"Hey Sam, Fury's looking for you," Peter says. "He thought that with you having traveled around the galaxy and all that you might be able to identify what the creature he found is and why it's here on earth. I mean, when you see it yourself you'd clearly be able to tell its not from Earth," Peter adds.
"M'kay," I responded simply. "Is it in that large ro-" I was cut off by Peter telling me that it was indeed that large room. I fly through the halls of the tricarrier towards the large room because walking is overrated when you can fly. As soon as I flew into the room I almost fall out of the air in shock. I quickly land and sprint towards the creature. The creature looks like it could be a normal horse but it's clearly not. It has a deep black coat with stars and constellations like the night sky all over its body, legs, and head. It's mane and tail are flowing against gravity and physics and look like they had a chunk of a galaxy instead of the mane and tail itself. It has a gold chest piece around its neck with a red star similar to the Nova logo.
"Stop! Let him go!" I yelled rushing towards it.
"Wha-?" Fury starts but I don't listen to him. I quickly break the device subduing the creature and I reach out to rub it's neck and face, causing both of our auras to combine, turning them purple.
"Shh Nebula... It's okay..." I whispered. "I'm here boy, it's alright," I continue to mutter soothing words. Slowly the men crept towards Nebula and me.
"Don-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before Nebula lashed out and started bucking and kicking again. He raised on his hind legs pawing the air angrily. A couple of the men brought out whips causing me to worry. For Nebula. For myself. "Sto-" I try to tell but I'm pushed to the back of the crowd of agents and personnel.
WHACK
One brings down a whip on Nebula's flank causing me to gasp.
"PLE-"
WHACK
I cry out in pain, trying to remain upright, but my cry is lost in the noise of Nebula's anger. It goes on like this for a few more lashes and yet Nebula remains mostly unharmed. I, however, am a different story. I can feel the blood leaking out of the gashes on my back, arms, and chest seeping through my suit, slowly turning the black to a dark red. I'm on my hands and knees shaking and I can't keep awake for much longer. I hear a soft nicker and I lift my head up. Nebula's head looks over towards me with his ears swiveling and the crowd parting cautiously as he makes his way towards me. At this point the whipping stops, the agents curious as to why the change in the horse's demeanor. A gasp from the crowd when they see me on my knees on the floor, bloody. Nebula uses his head to nudge me and I wrap my arms around his neck as he slowly lifts me to my feet, and still I lean on him heavily for support. My legs too weak to carry me and my eyes shutting.
"We're gonna need a medic here!" I hear an agent yell out. Nebula huffs and I smirk slightly to the best of my abilities. I tighten my hold on Nebula as a few medics and agents swarm Nebula and I trying to separate us. I groan in disagreement. No way they're separating us. He's like my brother, kind of. Not after I just reunited with him after a few years. Nebula paws the ground warning the agents and medics, who heed the warning and take a step back. I hug Nebula's neck as his head rests on my back/shoulder, and I ignore everything around me. None of that matters, only Nebula, the only one who I truly have left. It's not like a whole lot of people like me, but that's okay-- I have Nebula, and that's good enough.

AN: It's different! It's unique! Don't judge! And wish on my wishers!
