You grabbed Noctis by his shoulders and pulled him into you in a warm embrace, resting your cheek on his shoulder while he nuzzled his face in the crook of your neck.
"It's ok." You hummed lightly, running a hand through his ebony coloured hair softly.
Noctis's grip on you tightened and he hugged you harder. "I thought you..." he trailed off, not able to finish the rest of the sentence. You shushed him and began swaying from side to side slowly.
You kissed his cheek.
"I'm here. I'll always be here."

Prompto rubbed at his eyes in an attempt to stop the tears that trailed down his cheeks. You cupped his cheeks.
"Sweetie, what's wrong?" You asked, concern thick in your voice. You've never seen him in this state before. In all honesty, it shocked you. He was always so happy and playful...
Prompto said nothing but instead, simply wrapped his arms around your waist and brought you into his lap.
"Promise me you'll never leave me." You begged.
You were taken back. Was he crying because he thought you'd leave him? That would explain his unusual behaviour earlier this week...
You pressed your lips to his and smiled warmly at him. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Gladio stared at your unconscious form as you lay on the white hospital bed. The only sign of life coming from you was the rising and falling of your chest.
He gingerly picked your cold hand up and cradled it in his. He bit his lip as the tear rolled down his face.
Bending down, he placed a sweet kiss to your forehead before a pained and distraught smile made its way onto his lips.
"Please wake up soon..." He whispered.

Ignis tried his best to blink back the tear but without success as they fell anyway. His eyes were glued to the marble tombstone, your name engraved into therock in cursive letters.
Today was your birthday... but it also marked the anniversary of you no longer being by his side.
Silently, Ignis bent down to his knees and placed down a bouquet of your favourite flowers.
He stayed in that position for a while, his head hanging low and his shoulders shaking slightly as muffled sobs escaped his mouth.
"I miss you..."

"Luna, it's alright." You said in an effort to stop her from crying.
Luna shook her head, her eyes red and puffy from the tears that fell non-stop. "No, it's not alright." She exclaimed.
She threw her head back before turning around to look at you. "It isn't fair!" She cried.
You gave her a strained smile and wiped her tears away with your thumb. "It doesn't matter what they say. We'll always be together. Nobody will get between us." You vowed.
Luna stared at you before she fell into your arms, clinging onto you dearly.
