Chaos vanished, and the would be dog pile crashed to the ground with a huge,
"OOF,"
Chaos stood three feet away, cracking up. The group of unruly adults grumbled and groaned as they got up,
"¿Uf , no se podría haber puesto un colchón para que lo reemplace? Owie, "
Leo muttered angrily, cracking his back.(A/N Translation: "Ugh, you could've at least put a pile of feathers down? Owie,")
Nico tried to get up and slipped, landing on his face. Again.
"Stultutus stupri pavimentum, Et cum omni supellecti," (Translation: Stupid f****** floor, being all hard and stuff.)
Percy started swearing in fish, and Fennec snickered with him, then wincing once he stood up. Annabeth growled,
"Ωχ , τι the- , ηλίθια , ωχ , πάτωμα , χαλί , το καταριέται," (Ouch, what the -,stupid, ouch, floor, carpet, darn it)
Kendra tried to shove Jake off, but when that didn't work she started tickling him mercilessly, and he rolled away squeaking, anxious to get away from the torture, she sighed and stood up, glaring at Chaos, who smiling innocently, asked,
"Shall we continue?"
"Yes, we shall,"
Kendra growled.
After they had all sorted themselves out, they all sat in a circle, but Chaos tutted and they suddenly were in the air, still cross legged. Mary Poppins style, but without the laughing, chairs, table, and te-oh.
"Oi, you got some obsession with Julie Andrews or somethin'?"
Leo asked, for suddenly they were all in chairs and tea was being served by some invisible force.
"I thought you didn't do this kind of stuff anymore,"
Jake stated. Chaos shrugged, not giving an answer.
Leo, who was rocking back and forth in his chair, flipped over, and taken by surprise, fell 10 feet, stopped three-quarters of the way there, sighed in relief, and then the force holding him up let go, and he fell the rest of the way with a great... Poof. Yeah that's right, poof. Everyone was silent for a second, and the Nico burst out giggling.
Everyone blinked because... Nico, giggling. It was unheard of. Even after he got together with Will, he was still the silent, serious Nico they had all knew. But once they got over their initial shock, the started giggling too, which turned to full blown laughter, although they thankfully managed to stay in their chairs this time, unlike Leo, who sat there pouting, but even he couldn't hold it for long.
"Very funny guys, very funny,"
He said, pointedly looking at Chaos, who shrugged and floated him up to his seat.
"Anyways,"
Kendra said, sitting Indian style.
"How about...Fennec!"
He looked up from putting an unnecessary amount of sugar in is tea.
"Yeah?"
He asked.
"Well, how about we give him enhanced strength, and..."
She sat there pondering what she could do, when a sharp rod of discomfort made itself present to her, and she gasped.
"Ow! What in Hades?"
"Oh, that must be the wings coming in,"
When everyone's eyes shot to Chaos, he shrugged, what was it with him and shrugging?
"Well you said you wanted to fly, so I'm giving you wings,"
He said, as if it should be obvious. Then the same discomfort ht the others, they grunted in an effort not to cry out.
"The whole process shouldn't take more then about 5 hours, but you guys might want to lay down,"
Beds materialized on the ground, and Chaos floated them down and laid them gently on the beds, and that was all they remembered before they passed out from the pain.
"I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry,"
Chaos whispered and blankets appeared above them before floating down and covering the sleeping demigods.
