(1 week later)
Rachels pov:
"Okay guys so I decided to do some orginal songs for this years competition so Rachel and Quinn have volunteered to do the solo and we are going to do the group so lets get started." Mr.Shue said and we all went our separate ways.
(The next day)
I walked in the auditorium to see Quinn at the piano waiting for me.

"You're late." She said.

"We're friends right?" I asked her .

"Yeah I guess so." She said.

"I mean after everything that happened last year, you moving in with me, you giving your baby to my mom, I thought we kinda bonded over it right?" I asked her.

"Whats your point?" She asked me .

"The point is , I know we haven't spent a lot of time together this year but I thought we were close enough to be honest with eachother." I told her.

"Go ahead, ask me." She said.

"Are you and Finn dating?" I asked her.

"Yes we are , for a couple of weeks. Its like ground hogs day with you Rachel, you can never seem to realize it's not going to work out." She said rudely.

I looked down,

"Thank you for being honest with me Quinn, and I'm happy for you and Finn but you can't rewrite history. It was real between us Finn chose me over you." I said.

"And how did that work out?" She asked me sarcastically.

"Why are you being so mean?" I asked her hurt.

She looked at me , got up and said,

"Do you wanna know how the story plays out? I get Finn, you get heartbroken, and then Finn and I stay here and start a family. I'll become a successful real estate agent and Finn with take over Kurts dads tire shop. You don't belong here Rachel and you can't hate me for helping to send you on your way. " She told me .

I shook my head ,

"No, I'm not giving up on Finn , its not over. " I said.

"Yes it is ! God you're so frustrating and that is why you can't right a good song becausw ypu live in this little school girl fanasty of life. Rachel if you keep looking for that happy ending you are never going to get it right." She yelled, "So we're done with that and lets just move on and write this song." She told me.

"No, I think I'm going to write this song on my own." I said trying to keep it together.

I walked out and left as my tears came down my face.

I got home and ran upstairs and the lyrics just came out of me.

(Regionals)
Today is regionals and I'm so nervous because I'm going to perform my song. I sat at the table doing my makeup when Finn came up to me.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." I said.

"I just wanted to say good luck." He told me .

"Funny, last time we were here you told me you loved me." I said.

He looked down,

"I really love your song." He told me.

"Good, listen carefully because I mean every word." I said and went to the stage and started:
