Shikamaru~Not Such A Drag

Name: Aki

Age: 12

Looks: Long brown hair with a side pony tail, big brown eyes, wears headband as a belt, black skirt with fish net legging, red long sleeve shirt.

Personality: Laid back, deep thinker, moderanlty loud, active at most times.

Background: Aki came from an almost normal family. Since she's an only child, her parents, mostly her dad, are sometimes overprotective of her. It was a surprise that they let her become a ninja.

~~~Story start~~

I sat there in the grass, bored. Lady Tsunade cancled my mission cause my sensai was in the hospital. So, I decided to sit in the grass and waist time looking at clouds and wondering what they looked like.

"Aki....You should know by now that this is my spot." Shikamaru said sitting down next to me, I smiled.

"Well Shika-chan, we can't always get what we want, now can we?" I said.

"Why do you call me Shika-chan?" He asked laying back in the grass.

"Cause Shikamaru is a long ass name." I answered, he chuckled. "Hey is it me, or does that cloud right there look like Akamaru?" I asked.

"Yea....It kinda does actually." He replied. "And that one looks like a baby elephant." He pointed out.

"What one?" I asked.

"That one! Right there! Are you blind?" He asked.

"No. I don't see it!" I said again, Shikamaru came closer to me.

"Right there!" He said pointing to a cloud.

"Ooooh It is a baby elephant! Thats cute." I said, he nodded and layed down.

"I can't see Aki, lay down or somethin'." Shikamaru complained, I layed down next to him. We were at the least, three inches apart. "Look, that one looks like...."

"A shuriken?" I continued, he nodded. "And that on looks like the symbol on Naruto's jacket" I pointed out.

"Your good at this stuff Aki...." He said.

"Well I do this every other day so...." I explained.

"Well then, how about we make a date?" He suggested.

"A....Date?" I asked.

"Yea, we can go get something to eat then lay here and watch the clouds again. It'll be fun." He insisted.

"Ok, I guess so..." I answered fighting the blush coming across my cheeks.

"Cool." He said standing up, he grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Since when were you the happy, enthusiactic one?" I asked, he smiled at me.

"Well, I never met a girl that liked watching clouds like you. So, why not spend a day doing it with you? Your really chill Aki, I like that." He said, then pecked me on my cheek. "See you tomorrow Aki, same time, same place alright?" He asked.

"Y-Yea, thats cool Shikamaru." I said, he nodded and walke away waving me off. "BYE SHIKAMARU!" I yelled.

"Bye Aki!!" He yelled back.

I was feeling UBER happy. My all-time crush, just asked me out on a date. I started to run home. No screw home, I ran to Ino's house and banged on her door.

"INO INO INO!!! OPEN UP!!" I yelled banging on her door, she soon opened it. "Ino, Shikamaru just asked me out on a date and I don't know that the hell to wear!" I blurted out.
