SARAH POV
~Sometimes sorry is all you need to hear~
"This is frustrating."
"Honey, all you're doing is pouring milk into a bowl," Mom said with a confused look on her face
"Are you okay, Sweetheart? Because you've been acting kind of resentful all morning." mom concludes
"Yeah, I'm fine, just feeling a little flustered, it's no big deal." I said averting my eyes from her hazel.
I took up a spoon and pull up a chair to the counter. I began to eat my cereal while my mom goes back to her room to finish unpacking her boxes.
I still haven't finished unpacking either. That reminds me I need to help my brother unpack too.
Oh well, I can do that later.
I full my mouth one last time before I check my watch.
'7:46'
I rushed up the stairs of my new house and make my way to my room. I open the door and my eyes survey the pure, plain white walls. The room looks so, so lifeless. I proceed into the room and quickly go for my sandals. I place them unto my feet and look through the window.
The sky was a bright light blue and the birds are singing a sweet melody. My gaze landed on a blue room across from mine. It's filled with trophies, medals and a bed that looks like a king size one covered neatly with a comforter. The room looks kind of vacant and uninhabited. I guess it's probably Jacob's old room or something.
Jacob.
I feel the anger boiling up inside of me and my fist tightly clenched. I tear my gaze away from the room and make my way downstairs. I pick up my car keys and my school bag off the oval pedestal table and march to the front door.
I open the door and to my surprise the most amazing person I totally want to see is standing in front of me.
Note sarcasm
He's chocolate brown eyes seem apologetic and his lips curved into a sheepish smile.
"I'm really sor-" he's cut off by me pushing my way past him and forcefully bumping my shoulder against his. I walk towards my car and open the driver's door.
"Sarah please, just hear me out." Jacob said
I pause and look at him. I put a fake smile on, before a scowl finds its way on my face and I jump into the driver's seat and speed away to school, leaving Jacob on the front porch.
I turn on the radio and 'Apologize by one republic' starts to play, I quickly change the station and 'sorry by Ciara' begins to play. I turn off the radio in frustration and turn into west coast high.
The drive is a five minute long from my new home and it's much closer to school. I park my car into one of the free spaces in front of the establishment. I talk my knapsack of the passenger seat and head into the building. I walk around the corridor and into the main hallway.
As I walk to my locker boys send my winks while others have smirks plastered on their faces. Girls send scowls my way and I suddenly feel self-conscious.
I knew I should have worn my cardigan today.
I wrap my arms around my body and keep walking to my locker.
Oh My God!!! You know what I don't really think I need anything from my locker anymore. The sight in front of me is disturbing itself.
Like the stupid person I am I stood there watching the couple swap saliva in front of MY LOCKER.
