Carlos and a Fairy

Setting us up

No one's POV
Mal and Evie were thinking of a way to set their friends up on a date. "How about  they go to the enchanted lake" Mal suggested "Hmm thats a great  idea Mal I'll take care of Carlos you do Jane" Evie said. Evie grabbed her phone and texted Carlos
E: Wanna go to the Enchanted Lake for a swim on Saturday?
C: I'm not sure
E: It'll be fine
C: Oh ok I'll go
E: Bring your swimsuit k
C: Ok
"Took care of Carlos your turn Mal" Evie said "Ok" she replied and got her phone
M: Hey Jane wanna go to the enchanted lake for a swim on Saturday ?
J: Ummmm
M:It's going to be soo much fun
J: I don't know how to swim
M: I'll teach you come on
J: Ok
M: Bring a swimsuit
J: I will

"Well that's done now I'll ask Ben to do that romantic picnic thing he did with me" Mal said "Yea" Evie said.
Saturday
It was finally Saturday the two friends made sure to make that date perfect "Is the picnic ready" Evie asked "Yea Ben told me it's done " Mal replied "Ok I'll call Carlos and tell him to go to the lake then you call Jane" Evie said Mal nodded
"Hey Carlos are you heading to the lake" Evie said
"Yup I was just waiting for your call" Carlos replied
"Ok I'll be there soon" Evie lied and ended the call
"Your turn Mal" Evie said "Ok I'm on it" she said
"Hey Jane start going to the lake ok" Mal said
"Ok I'll be there soon" Jane said
"Perfect" Mal said and ended the call
Carlos's POV
I was at the enchanted lake I put on a white shirt and a red shorts with some cool sneakers I had recently bought. (Outfit down below)

I waited for Evie for about ten minutes but she still wasn't here I was starting to think she ditched me. As I was about to leave I saw Jane arrive . What is she doing here.I had to admit she looked beautiful as always she was wearing a pretty light blue dress with white sandals and her hair looked amazing

"H-hey Carlos what are you doing?" She asked "I should be asking you that question Evie invited me for a swim here" I explained "Really Mal invited me here" she said "Of course Mal and Evie were going to do this" I said knowing what their plan was "Why's that so" she asked "I'll tell you later " I said and blushed embarssed of telling her why "W-well I should g-go I don't want to bother you" she said and started to walk off "WAIT!  I mean why don't you stay I would like some company" I said blushing even harder "Oh ok" she said and sat next to me "I'm going to go swim" I said and took my shirt off and shoes and went to go swim. After a while I saw her all alone "Wanna swim with me" I said
Jane's POV
"Wanna swim with me" Carlos said which caused me to flinch. "Umm no I didn't bring my swimsuit " I lied He raised and eyebrow "Oh really then whats that right there" he said and pointed to my bag where my swimsuit was he started to smirk "Come on lets go swim" he said smiling "I don't really like swimming " I said "Why?" He asked
Flashback
It was when Jane was in the first grade Jane and her friends were in the lake it was the day Jane was going to learn how to swim. Jane was sitting near the edge "Come on Jane join us we'll teach you how to swim" one of her friends said "I don't think so maybe later I'm not feeling brave yet" she said. She was indeed nervous to swim "Are you a baby" one of the boys said snickiring "No I'm just not ready yet" she said "Sure "he said sarcastically. The he got out of the water and pushed Jane in the lake. Everyone was laughing at her that day Jane almost drowned if it wasn't for Jane's mom Fairy Godmother came to the rescue since that day Jane became the timid girl she is and stopped being social
End of flashback
I told him what happened in the first grade. "I would never do that to you" he said sincerly "Yea I know but I can't swim" I said "I'll teach you" he said "Are you sure" I asked "Of course I will" he said "Oh ok I'll go get changed" I said and grabbed my swimsuit then I undid my hair so it was loose "Ok I'm ready" I said and walked over to him. He just stared at me he was getting red and he looked shocked I looked at my swimsuit and saw it was revealing a lot "Oh yea sorry I'll change if you want" I said blushing "N-no it's ok it's just you look amazing" he said which made blush even more "Hehe umm ok"
Carlos's POV
I was shocked by how pretty Jane looked I felt bad about how she almost drowned because of her "friends" no one even helped her. "Ok ready?" I asked her she nodded in response I could tell she was pretty nervous "Hey its going to be fine ok" I reassured her "Yea ok" she said shyly. She got in the water I grabbed her by the waist moving her through the water while telling her how to swim "Ready to go by yourself " I asked she shook her head. She was getting the hang of it "Ok I'm ready" she said I let go of her waist and she started swimming by herself "You did it " I cheered her "All thanks to you" she said making her way to me "Awww it was nothing" I said "No really thank you" she said and hugged me. Of course I immediately hugged her back "You're the best friend I could ever have " she said yeah just "bestfriends" . I'm guessing I must have looked sad because she said "What's wrong" "N-nothing" I said "Carlos we're friends you can tell me" she said "But not this if I tell you this it could ruin our friendship " I said "Carlos nothing in the world will ruin our friendship now tell me" she said worried "Promise" I sighed "Promise" she smiled Come on Carlos you can do it just tell her how you feel "Ok here goes JaneIreallyreallylikeyou" I muttered "Say again" she said and made herself closer to me "Ok Jane I really really like you" I said a little bit more louder
Jane's POV
"Jane I really really like you" he said . I couldn't believe Carlos actually like me. I looked into his eyes to see if he was telling the truth. He was he looked sincere "Really?" I asked he nodded "You probably don't feel the same " he said tearing up "I do" I said quickly and closed my eyes "I do like you ever since you danced with me and Ben's Coronation I started to like you" I said and opened my eyes he made his way to me "So then it's okay to do this " he said "Do wha-" I was cut off by his lips to touching mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss back. After we pulled apart he said "Do you want to be my girlfriend" he asked "Yes" I said. Then we got out the water and went to change and ate some of the picnic Evie and Mal planned then Carlos told me about how Mal and Evie knew he liked me and things started to make sense. We watched the sunset and went back to school. "Bye" I waved to him as I got to my dorm "Bye" he said .
