"I'd like you all to give a warm welcome to our newest member, Elizabeth Whinscott!" Lady Anne announced. Following her words, a large applause spread throughout the room, bringing a large blush to my cheeks as I made my way up towards the front of the large room.

"Congratulations." Lady Anne said as she smiled at me, grabbing my hand inbetween both of hers and shaking it.

"Thank you." I said politley, still blushing as people continued to clap. I was then handed a small badge by my mother who was one of the heads. She quickly pinned it to my chest, a wide grin set upon her face. Lady Anne then walked back in front of all the others, calming the down, before speaking again. She spoke of next week's meeting and what the plans were. Once she was finished everyone began leaving, hugging and kissing each other in farewell. It was funny really....how all these women acted like they liked each other, when in reality they all despised each other.

"Come on dear. Let's get going." my mother said, probbing me towards the exit. I quickly complied, walking towards the doors gracefully.

Once we were home, mother quickly went off to the tea room since she had invited a couple of her friends over, leaving me alone to do nothing. I thought about reading or working on my studies, but decided against it. I made my way outside since it was such a beautiful day out. I walked around our garden, peering at all the newly bloomed flowers and enjoying their beauty. I walked a little more, but stopped suddenly when I caught sight of Zayn digging a hole. I watched as he placed fence poles in the ground, his muscles in his arms flexing as he lifted them. He was wearing a white tank top and tan trousers. His sweat was soaking his shirt so that it stuck to his figure. His hair was scruffy and his skin was dirty.
I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat as I stared at him.
Suddenly he turned and noticed me. He stopped what he was doing, leaning himself againt his shovel.

He squinted his eyes from the sun before speaking, "Do you need any help Miss?" he asked.

My heart sped up as he gazed at me patiently. I couldn't help but feel nervous and antsy in his presence.

"N-No." I said breathlessly.

He looked down at the ground before looking back up at me and biting his lip.

My eyes focused on his lips as he grabbed the skin between his teeth. I couldn't help but find it attractive.

I grew some confidence before walking forward, stopping a few steps away from him. He watched me carefully, his eyes filled with curiousity.
I looked at the work he had been doing, placing my hands behind my back and clasping them there.

"What are you working on?" I asked curiously as i continued to stare at the fence he had been working on.

He cleared his throat, "Uh, your mother asked me to build a small fence here so that the animals would stay out." he stated, his eyes burning the side of my face.

I turned to look at him. My breath hitched as I looked into his brown orbs. Right now, they appeared to be a light hazel. His eyes were kind and gentle.

"Yes, my mother is slightly obsessed with this garden." I said, chuckling softly.

I watched as a small smile grew on his face. It was a pleasant and warm smile, that made butterflies flutter in my stomach.

"I think she'd much rather use the word 'dedicated'." he joked with the smile still on his face.

I smiled softly before giggling in agreement.
