See the similarities? If you don't, you obviously hate this theory so much that you don't even look at details. Here are a few personality similarities. They both are jokesters and goof offs. At times. They encourage and protect their friends and they both are lazy at times. There is also a theory floating around that there was an episode in SU called "Steven's Birthday" where Steven gets cancer, out of all the deadly sicknesses, and dies at the end of the episode, following the suicides of the Crystal Gems. It was a bit too sad and gruesome (somewhat) and Cartoon Network had to take the episode down and remake it to make a happy ending for everyone. Apperiantly Toby Fox, the maker of Undertale and "friend" (according to the theory) of the creator of Steven Universe, had seen the episode before it was taken down and made Sans to give Steven a second chance at life and live as a different person, but with the same personality. The reason why he's lazier than before is because all the resetting and the fact that the barrier cannot be broken without a human soul brings his spirits down, even with his cheerful attitude, he thinks that he'll never see the Crystal Gems again until Frisk/Player comes along, but some of his doubts still remain. Even though all this writing might be over absolutely nothing, it's still pretty fun to wonder about things that seem similar to others and if there could be a connection, so no hating plz.
