Aprils pov
It's been 5 months and Jack still hasn't woken up, you see after me and John had that mini fight I went to see Jack and according to the doctors there was only a 20% chance he was gonna wake up from this coma. I couldn't loose hope, jacks strong and I know he can make it. I visit him every day but Danny says its no use, I've been sleeping in his room lately just cause sleeping in me and jacks room made me cry. John and I are getting closer each day while drew and I became really good friends.
"Hey April any luck with Jack?" Drew says interrupting my thoughts
"Nope... I'm staring to loose hope drew" he stares at me for a couple of minutes
"Don't loose hope... Jack loved you.."
"How do you know that?" I blushed
"Sweetie I'm half vampire I can read your thoughts and your thoughts are sooooo depressing and sometimes funny cause uh i know you think about me" he winks
"Shut up! I did not give you permission to do that Drew what ever your last name is!" He laughs at me like I'm just a baby learning how to talk
"My last names Wilson"
"Well Drew Wilson you aren't allowed to read my thoughts! Alright"
"'Nooo promises!" He shouts out as he runs to his room
"Hey Ape!" Danny says popping in
"Hey Danny what's up?" He smiles at me for a really long time until he started talking
"Well I have 2 surprises for you today but you have to wait for them." I sighed
"I have to wait! You know I hate waiting."
"I know but to bad!" He hops along to his room while humming. I wonder what the surprises are?
Danny's pov
Aprils been really glum lately so I decided to give her a present but before I could do that I checked on Jack.
"Nurse has anything changed"
"Actually yes he's showing signs of movement, the doctor says he should be waking up soon later this evening" I couldn't believe it! Jack was waking up after 5 months !
"Alright but do not tell April I want it to be a surprise!" She nods as I hop away.
I was heading to the pet store to buy April a kitty, she said ever since she was little she always WANTED one but her parents hated her so much that they gave her a pet rock to keep her company. I quickly entered the shop and saw sooooo many cute kittens! I had to admit I'm a real animal lover. I kept checking and checking until I find the one. It was all white except for a big black patch over his left eye.
"Sir can I have this one" he nods and smiles
"Is there someone special in your life"
"Well she's one of my best friends and is like a sister to me but recently her um.. Boyfriend slipped into a coma and she's been glum" I looked at him as tears started to fill his eyes
"T-that's so sad.. You know what take this bed for free!" I smiled, woo I just saved $25!
"So how much for the kitten sir?" He wipes his tears
"$50" I nod and hand him the cash as I take the new kitty back to the house.
Aprils pov
I visited Jack again just because I has nothing else to do.
"Nurse is there anything new?"
"Actually he- I mean no sorry m'am it doesn't look like he'll be waking up anytime soon" I started to silently cry.
"O-ok" I left the room and bumped into Van and Hunter
"April what's wrong?"
"Nothing it's just.. I can't take it anymore! All of this." They gave me a slight smile and hugged me
"It's gonna be alright.." Van says, then all off a sudden Hunter starts singing don't worry be happy
"Oooo don't worry..... Beeeee happy! Don't worry be happy now." Van and I laughed at his horrible singing as he pouted telling us he was the best. They told me that they were gonna check on Jack but I was to scared that I was gonna have another breakdown
"Alright but we'll see you later!" I nodded and headed towards the kitchen only to bump into another person
"Oh sorry April" John says while picking me up
"It's fine I just need some food"
"Well wanna go to subway?" I thought about it, do I want subway or do I want a taco?
"Nah." He frowns
"Is it because of me?"
"No I just want a taco" he smiles
"Wow mate we have the same food choices" I blushed as he grabs my hand and leads me to his black Mercedes.
"Alright off to Taco Bell!!!" He shouts out, I laugh. John was actually trying to be good for the first time and I kinda liked it.
