Aprils pov
I wake up to the sound of meowing and realized Athena was still in my arms.
"Oh April your awake"
"OH MY GOD JACK YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH!" He laughs as he puts Athena on the chair and hugs me
"April I missed you so much. I- I was scared that I was gonna lose you so easily." I could feel his tears going on my shirt
"Jack it's ok I'm here." He nods as pulls away
"I'm sorry I'm being so dramatic" I laughed as he picks up Athena and hands her to me
"I'm guessing your gonna go back home?"
"No April, I wanna be here and watch out for you and so does Danny Sooo... I made Hunter alpha and Van beta but we can take back those titles anytime" I nodded
"Jack do you really love me?"
"Yes of course April don't be stupid, I've loved you since day 1"
"Thanks Jack, your probably the only guy who's ever taught me how to love."
"Your welcome!" He says pecking my cheek
"Now help me stand up" he carts me bridal style as Athena was still in my arms, fast asleep
"I said help me stand up not carry me like a baby" he puts me down and stares at me
"Hey did you know Hunter found his mate? Her names Emmy" I smiled
"Sooooo what do you wanna do today?" He says awkwardly
"I don't know maybe watch a movie or go to the park?" He nods
"We'll go to the park, there's something I need to talk to you about, do you wanna bring Athena?" I shake my head
"Just a sec I'm gonna give her to Danny" I ran up to Danny's room and busted the door open
"DANNY MY MAN!" I smiled and he smiled back
"APE !! Your awake finally, life's so boring and grey without youuu!!!"
"I know I know, I'm amazing geez now can you take care of Athena for a bit?"
"Yea of course, see you later ape."
I wave goodbye and continued walking but I realized I was still in the hospital gown, I quickly ran to my room and put on some tights and a white shirt. Geez Jack you were about to go take me to the park with just a hospital gown on..
"I'm ready!!!"
"Let's gooo!!" We hopped into his car and we were off
-at the park-
"Sooo what did you wanna talk About?" I asked
April.." He says not making eye contact
"Jack ..."
"You know I love you right?"
"Yah of course.."
"I.... April I have feelings for you.."
"Yah I do to dummy! We're besties remember?!" I say laughing
"April.. I have... Feelings that are beyond that, I love you more then you can imagine.."
"Oh..."
"I think I should go back to the pack..."
"Are you kidding me? You promised me you won't leave me!"
"You have John and Danny... I mean I'm not gonna be a part of your life either way."
"Jack no, I love you, your my best friend!"
"DANNY IS TOO!" He shouts out, people started giving us weird looks
"But your like a brother to me, I hate to admit it but I love you more then Danny, you taught me how to love, how to have fun, how to fight and so much more please don't leave!" Tears started to form in both of our eyes
"It's only 4 hours away April.."
"So?! You want me to waste my gas just to drive all the way back there!!!" I cried out
"April.. I- I have to" he runs into the bushes so no one can see him shift then he ran, for the first time he ran away from me... What's happening
