Chapter 21

Jacks pov
I felt really bad for leaving April, she looked so sad... I kept thinking about her and decided I should go apologize and just stay with her at the pack house, she's my best friend after all. I headed back to the spot we talked but no one was there. She must've gone back to the pack house.. Oh well..
"No let me go you mother fucker !" I hear someone shoutout, it sounded a lot like April but I wasn't sure. As I was about to leave I saw pieces of Aprils clothes everywhere.... Maybe it's someone else's.. I took one step and heard a loud thud come from the bushes. Ok this shit ends now. I ran to the bushes and saw a man standing by Aprils naked body.
"Well well, your the famous alpha Jack"
"How do you know my name mutt!" I shout out
"My daughter April seems to care about you a lot" his daughter.
"What the fuck man?! You were gonna rape your daughter?! Again?!"He laughs then nods
"Your a sick and perverted man." He looks away, I could tell he was getting something from his pocket. It was a long shiny knife.
"Now just let us be on our way and nothing will happen to you and her" he says with a low voice
"Nothing?! Your gonna rape her, I'd rather die then to have you scar her life forever!" He laughs as he rests the knife of Aprils neck
"Fine leave.. But I will find you." I whisper
He starts walking away slowly and I mind linked Danny to come ASAP..
After about 2 minutes he came and we traced down Aprils father, they weren't far from were we started. Danny and I ran quietly until we saw Aprils father starting to get undressed.. Oh shit he's about to do it! I mind linked Danny to go behind him and I'll go in front and distract him. I looked at him as I could tell he noticed he footsteps coming closer to him.
"Alright who's there?!" He shouts out "well well... If it isn't Jack... Why'd you come back you fool!" I knew he could smell me so I made Danny walk into the water to mask his scent
"Duh for her." I rolled my eyes, the answer was so obvious
"Aww well you just ruined the party." He smirks as he slowly gets his knife
"Come at me Jack, or are you to scared!" Pfft too scared of a 40 year old man with a large knife.
"Nope but I think you are.." I walked up to him with a smirk
"Fight me, man to man no weapons, no shifting . Then we'll see who gets to take her."
He rolled his eyes and nodded. We both took fighting stance as he threw random punches in the air missing me, I threw a punch at his face sending him flying but he still stood up
"Nice try." He charges at me and punches my stomach hard making me cough up some blood, he took that chance to beat up my face. I pushed him off then kicked his face,, just as I was about to send my final punch he takes out his knife and swings if around trying to stab me.
"Holy shit man I said no fucking weapons" I growled out
"Yeah well life isn't fair." He laughs as he holds the knife close to my throat
"This is it Jack, your dead" I laughed and he gave me the wtf look.
"No no no Mr laws your the one dead."
BAM
He fell to the ground with his eyes wide open, Danny had shot him with Aprils moms gun, she had told me about that story and where her mom hid the gun.
"Good job Danny" he shout out as he came out from the bushes
"Thanks man" I nod and picked up Aprils naked body
"Umm how are we gonna get her home.. She's naked." I rolled my eyes
"It's like 11 pm do you think People would still be here?" He gave me a blank expression
"Fine I'll check just a sec" Danny ran off while Aprils dad started to talk to me
"J-Jack.." He whispers
"What is it now?!"
"T-thank y-you." I stared at him not knowing why he said thank you, I just killed him!
"What do you mean? I just killed you..."
"I-I was p-possessed.. It was all my fault. I-I made a d-deal with a w-witch t-to bring April back to life since her m-mom had a miscarriage. I gave my soul to her and she brought April back to life. The devil had my soul and he could possess me anytime." I couldn't believe it, this sick bastard actually cared about April!
"Oh my.. I'm so sorry mr laws I didn't know, neither did April!" He nods and smiles
"That's okay, it's ok if she hates me.. At least I saved her, take care of her for me." I nod, I actually started tearing up.
"Goodbye mr laws." He nods and squeezes my hand
"T-tell April s-she was my favourite." I nod as he lets go of my hand
"Come on j- what happened?" Danny says looking at me with confusion
"Aprils dad... Was a good guy."
"What are you talking about?! He just tried to rape April!"
"He... He was possessed and he gave his soul to the devil just so he could get April back to life.." Danny gasps and looks at him
"Shit I feel bad." He whispers
"I know me to.."
"Let's go home there's no one there.. Well except for people making out on the bench but they won't notice." I nod and picked up April again. This night has been awful
