Unexpected rejection

The meeting

Jasmine's pov
I looked at Jack and felt disgusted at what I had just done, but I smiled so he wouldn't be suspicious
"What's wrong babe?" He says snapping me out of my thoughts
"N-nothing just watching tv" he nods and heads to the bathroom
I had to remember the plan, get April and bring her to him , or the boss will be mad. Hell he said he would take our heads off if we didn't fulfill it
"Soo what do you wanna do today?' Jack asks
"I don't know, I kinda wanna hang out with April." He nods
"She has to go to a meeting though but you can ask her." I nodded and headed upstairs but I had no idea where I was going
"Turn left and it's the second door to your right" Jack says with a smile, boy did this guy love me too bad I don't love him back.

Aprils pov
I put on the dress and Danny kept smirking
"My bestie looks  hot as fuck" I laughed and heard a loud knock coming from the door
"Uh h-hey April I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out later today" I nodded and she smiled
"Okay I'll see you around 4:30" I nod and she left the room, something  about Jasmine seemed weird, she kept giving me the evil vibe but  I bet it's nothing.
"Wow looks like you 2 are friends now" I rolled my eyes at Danny who was on his phone taking selfies
"Seriously , I mean just because your cute doesn't mean you need to take a thousand selfies like I do" it was his turn to roll his eyes
"Hey April are you rea-" I heard a gasp from John
"You are not wearing that." He says trying not to look at me
"Why not"
"Cause it's revealing"
"Well I like revealing"
"Whatever April let's go" he says dragging me out

-at the meeting place-
"So any news" John asks 5 other people, 4 guys and 1 girl
"Nope haven't found out anything"
"Shit" he whispers
"What's happening? Why is everyone angry"
"April.. There's this person, we have no idea who but a few months ago he told us he would take away my mate, which is you..."
"Duh who else stupid" John rolls his eyes
"He also said that he was gonna win you over and take you away from me, he also said he hired people but we have no fucking idea who" I sighed
"Oh"
"Yeah" we all stayed quiet for about a minute until this guy broke the silence, he had brownish blackish hair and brown eyes
"Soo I might as well  introduce ourselves I'm Caleb, this is Mark"
He says pointing to the guy with dirty blonde hair and green eyes
"And this is ashton" he says pointing to the one with black hair and blue eyes
"And these two are Reese and Carson" caleb says pointing at 2 people with red hair and green eyes, they almost looked exactly alike
"Twins?" I ask and they both nodded
"Well I'm April Laws... " they all nod and turn back to John
"So why did I have to dress up"
"Uhh...well. We kinda want you to lure him in" caleb says, I stared at him
"Fine but don't let me get killed" he smiles and nods
"Come on let's go geez!!" Mark says rolling his eyes
"Ok leggo!" Reese says, we started to walk out the door until John grabs my wrist
" be careful ok?" I nod and headed out
-outside by a cafe-
"Ok what am I supposed to do?" I asked caleb
"Just stand there and pretend your waiting for your ride" I nodded and walked towards the lamp post in front of the cafe. I waited for like 10 minutes which seemed like hours until someone approached me
Oh my god I was gonna die. I looked up slowly and my eyes met with brown chocolate eyes
"Oh my god Dylan!!" I say jumping up and hugging him
"April what are you doing here?!" He says
"I was uh waiting for my ride, my date kinda ditched me here " he pretended to frown, you see Dylan and I were inseparable since middle school , we dated for a bit until he had to move away.
"Awe nooo, that jerk! By the way April you got so beautiful" I thanked him and I heard John growl through mind link
"So can I take you home or what? " he smiled and I nodded, I mind linked John that I was gonna go with Dylan for a bit, John said to call him if we were in trouble.
We hopped into the car and I turned on the radio
"Oh my gosh it's my jam!!" The song one dance came up
"I NEED A ONE DANCE, GOT A HENNESSY IN MY HAND, ONE MORE TIME 'FOR I GO" I kept singing until the gun part came on where Dylan did pretend guns and shot at the road which made the car kind've swerve.
"I missed you so much" I whisper
"Me to April, me to" we sat in silence until we reached a big house which wasn't mine
"Um Dylan where are we?"
"You'll see" and with that I was consumed by darkness
