Jade's POV:
It's been ten years since the incident. My magic has faded now, and I'm a pure-blooded vampire. Alec has taught my mother and I to feed on animal blood, and we live in harmony with the fairies of our realm. Alec and Alana were married shortly after we returned, and they are the new rulers of the realm. Gretchen found her way to our realm through her elf friend's portal, and told us that Asher decided to move to the human realm, and become a vegetarian vampire as well. She says that she visits him often, and offered to take me along. I politely declined, given his history. When I thought I loved him, I didn't know what love was. Now I live a quiet life in the cabin in the Pink Forest. Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I hadn't regained my memories, and who I would have become.
