One week. It's been a week magmula noong I decided to change.
Yea sure. I'm maarte and bitchy na before but not to the extend na pandidirihan ko lahat or kahit simpleng bagay lang nagmamaktol ako. But what can I do? I got Kurt's attention. Parati nga lang masama ang tingin niya sa akin.
Like two days ago. I was in the canteen at bumibili ang soda before pumunta sa next class ko. Patapos na ang break ko when Zoe, the tranferee girl, bumped into me.
"Ano ba! Apat na nga mata mo mababangga mo pa ako?!" Iritadong sigaw ko sa kanya.
"Sorry. Hindi kasi kita nakita."
"Tanga! How do you walk ba? Nakapikit?!" Nagtatawanan na ang ibang mga estudyante dahil sa napapanood.
"H-Hindi --"
"Shut up. I don't wanna hear your explanation. Umalis ka sa harap ko bago ko ibuhos sayo itong coke ko sayo!" Sigaw ko at dali-dali siyang tumabi sa daan.
"Better." I said smirking and left her silently crying.
Arte! How can you survive this foolish world kung simpleng salita lang iiyak ka na.
Hindi ko napansin na nandoon din pala sila Blaire at nakita nila ang ginawa ko. Inirapan ko lang sila ng makita na masama ang pagkakatingin nila sa akin.
It has been two days at hindi parin kami nag-uusap.
Papunta na ako sa first class ko ng makasabay ko si Zoe sa daan papunta doon. "Sorry ulit. Sana magka-ayos na tayo." Sabi niya na hindi ko pinansin at binilisan ang lakad ko.
Hindi naman ako galit talaga sa kanya. Just pissed. Sobrang bait, mahiyain, mahinhin. She should know how to choose friends and how to fight for herself. I'm actually doing her a favor.
Malapit na ako sa door ng classroom ko when I saw Kurt. "Baby! What are doing here." I shrieked as I approached him.
He placed his finger in his ear na parang naiingayan. Or nah, baka makati ears niya.
Tinignan niya ako na nakataas ang dalawang kilay na parang nagtatanong.
"You wanna go out later?" Tanong ko.
Dire-diretso naman ang lakad niya hanggang sa malagpasan na niya ako.
"Kurt?"
"Yea. Yea." Sagot niya na nakataas pa ang isang kamay like waving backwards.
Ang laki ng ngiti ko dahil sa naging sagot niya. The whole time na nasa klase ako, I am wearing a huge grin.
Kahit the subjects are getting boring, gising at naka-smile parin ako.
When it's break time na pumunta na ako sa canteen to buy food then kakain ako sa car. I said sorry na din sa driver ko kasi I got mad at him the last time. I think I went too far.
Papunta na ako sa counter to pay for my orders when Amanda blocked my way.
"Look who do we have here." Mataray na sabi niya.
"Out of my way. I don't have time for your craps in life." I said rolling my eyes at her. My day is doing fine, I don't need her presence on it.
"Aww our poor little girl here is alone. Where are your friends now when you need them?" She looked back at her minions before laughing. Halata namang peke 'yung tawa nila. Pati ba naman 'yon dapat synchronize pa?
"I have a reason for being alone. Ikaw parati ngang may kasama but how sure are you that they are your true friends." I retorted that made them all stop.
"Huh. I don't need friends. I don't need them. It's the other way around. They need me so they befriend me."
"So you let them use you? Just like how you let your boys use you?" I crossed my arms overy chest and smirked when her jaw dropped.
"Careful bitch. I'd rather stay mum rather than bitching around." I whispered as I pass beside her.
Nagbayad na ako sa counter at dumerestso sa sasakyan namin.
"Kuya 'wag mo na pala ako antayin hanggang mamaya. I'll be with Kurt." Masayang sabi ko at ngumiti lang ang driver ko.
Hindi na nagtetext sa akin si Kurt unless I text him first. Just like now. Gusto ko sana sabay kami maglunch.
To Kurt:
Hey babe. Sabay tayo maglunch?
Inantay ko ang reply niya, kaya habang wala pa ay nag instagram muna ako.
30 minutes na akong naghihintay ay wala parin siyang reply.
I am about to call him when I saw his car pulled over at the opposite side of the parking space. Nilapitan ko kaagad ito so I could ask him to join me pero bumukas bigla ang passenger's seat.
Feeling ko my eyes popped out from it's socket when I saw Amanda going out of his car. She waited for Kurt outside the car.
Pagkalapit, he whispered something in her ear that made her giggle.
Maybe they didn't noticed me there dahil malalagpasan na nila ako ay nagtatawana parin sila. So I pulled Amanda away from Kurt.
"What the --" She was shocked habang si Kurt naman ay walang reaction.
"Stay away from my boyfriend you bitch." I screamed at her face. She gasped when I slapped her.
"As far as I can remember you two already broke up." She's smirking kahit nakahawak sa pisngi na sinampal ko.
I glanced at Kurt pero bored lang siya nanonood sa amin.
"Then you got the wrong information. We're back." I gritted out.
"Your delusional." She said incredulously. "News flash bitch. Kurt already broke up with you, and he's not head over heels with you anymore. Akala mo kasi perfect ka. Guess you can't have everything you want." She said while playing with my hair. "You see, it will not always be in your favor. Please do keep that in mind." She said in a low voice.
Umalis siya pulling Kurt with her. Hindi naman siya pumalag, basta nalang siya sumama.
Masama ng tingin na nilingon ko sila at bumalik na sa sasakyan namin.
Kumain ako kahit nahihirapan na ako lumunok. I wiped the tear that fell from my eye. Stupid Alex. Pagkain na nga lang iniiyakan mo pa.
