It was a dark night in Seattle, Washington. I pulled up the hood of my jet black hoodie as I treaded down the dark alleyway. The apartment was near here. The boss told me on his deathbed that this was his final wish. Of course, I would carry it out. My worn Converse echoed against the wet pavement, fresh from rain. The clouds casted their shadows even after the vicious storms that plagued that morning. As I made my way down the narrow back street, I heard a sound from behind me. I turned quickly, my hair whipping my face.
"Ian." I said, glaring at the tall man before me. He was extremely lean with brown hair that was combed up and over. His eyes held a devious glare that was no doubt the cause of the bad blood between him and the boss. Yet his eyes currently held an amused look as he laughed at my tone.
"Oh, dear. Have I interrupted something?" He said, his cold grey-blue eyes chilling my skin.
"Actually, you're right where I need you to be." He didn't have time to register my statement before I pulled out my pistol and shot his chest. He fell into a kneel, his deep red blood dripping down his purple shirt. I stood over him as he laid helpless, coughing and digging at his heart. I cast my gaze away.
"One down, five members to go."
