Chapter 5: i promise ill protect you

Y/N point of view

"........ And must I say, it's FINALY nice to meet you......Meliodas."
The blonde boy holding me softly chuckled and lifted his head showing his beautiful shade of green eyes.
I couldn't believe it was really him. Meliodas looked at the demon guard for a second then turned his attention on me. This caused me to jump a little.
"Are you ok?" He asked me in a soft voice with a big grin attached to his face. I hesitated for a few to just take everything in. 'Wha... WHAT!?!? He's Meliodas? The captain of the seven deadly sins! The sin of wrath?, just saved my life? Oh my god.... Ok girl calm down, calm down, calm down..... Just breathe and everything will be ok.
But I couldn't just ignore him, so I nodded my head as I looked downward hiding my red face that was showing. I was still freaking out in my mind But before I could continue calming myself down, I heard a male voice speak.
" so your the scum who's been chasing this girl around? Why? What's your intention with her?" I looked behind me to see a tall man with red eyes and icy blue hair with a red suit on.
"Wow..... For someone like you, you sure do ask a lot of questions, isn't that right ban?" The guys behind Meliodas that was named ban, growled at the comment he made. "Anyway I have no intention of telling u men any of my business but as you should know, this girl is a very dangerous prisoner who escaped the holy Knights jing jail prison not to long ago, so my boss sent me out to find this girl, so if u don't mind handing her to me-"
"No" I was shocked at what I heard and I focused my attention on Meliodas. "I know your lying, it's written all over your dumb demon face. Plus it all wouldn't make sense. Like first, why would you come after her? Why wouldn't they send a holy Knight? Sending you would just caused attention to people around and cause danger towards them as well. And another thing, why would you try and kill her? Huh? Well I don't want you answering any of those questions and I don't care one bit, all I know is that your not laying one finger on this girl, she is coming back with me if u like it or not, and if u want her so badly you would have to go through me first!" Meliodas spoke bravely as he still had his grin attached on. What he said made my heart skip a beat. Why would he help me? He barely knows me! But the next this I knew was that the demon came after us quickly. I couldn't move! My body was stuck! Meliodas was holding me really close to him and was holding me tight as he jump in the air at the last minute. As ban kicked the demon in the face really hard sending him flying into the tree. Meliodas soon landed back down on the ground and put me down till I was standing on my own two feet. He grabbed my hand and push me to the boy they call ban. " ban, keep her safe, and run" " aw... Come one captain, u know I don't run away from-" " ban... I'm not repeating my self, you need to bring this girl somewhere safe, I gave you an order!" Meliodas scared me for a sec, he sounded so serious, it was cute..... Wait wait wait! Stop it y/n! What are you thinking? "Alright alright alright! Calm captain , geez... I heard ya." Ban picked me up and put me on his shoulder. " but wait! What about you Meliodas!" I spoke up in concern so he could hear me before ban started running me to safety. Meliodas's back was facing me but he suddenly turned around slowly as his big goofy smile appear facing me. "Don't worry about me, your my priority right now" what just came out of his month made be blush hard. Then the next thing I know, I was being carried away seeing Meliodas disappear in the distance.

Meliodas point of view

I looked behind me seeing the girl being carried by ban, running farther and farther to safety. 'Such a caring girl, to care so much for my safety. And she is beautiful as well...' Yeah stop right there, I couldn't think about this right now, I have had a meeting to attended to.
I see the demon stand up again after being kicked hard into the tree a few minutes ago. "Well well, that wasn't nice of you to take something that didn't belong to you" he spoke deeply in a serious tone this time. I liked it. "You shouldn't talk, u basically did the same thing but only tried to kill her. But what I wanna know is the truth behind this whole act your playing" i said with a smirk as I was making hand movements in the air." Wow.... I'm surprised! Ur smarter than I thought! Hahaha.....I'm not telling u anything of the sort! Just know I'm taking princess Y/n back to where she truly belongs....... By force. But anywho, ta ta! I can't be waisting time with someone as weak as you." I instantly began running towards him before he could finish his sentence but As soon as I was an inch closer to him, he vanished! 'What...... Where did he.....' I trailed my sentence off by me already figuring out were he was heading next. "y/n!"
Without a speck of hesitation in my mind I instantly began running through the forest, the trail that y/n and ban we're going through. I had to Find her fast before he did. Telling by how quickly he vanished, only God knows where he could be right now and telling by how he did it, he is more powerful than I imagined. That thought made a smile appear on my face again know thins were going to get interesting. I started thinking out load from what I heard earlier.
" so..... Princess y/n? Huh? Well it looks like I'm taking in another beautiful princess." I soon started worrying about the girl."
" don't worry y/n, I'm coming. And no matter what, I promise....... I'll protect you."
